The CU board is the most user unfreindly I've seen!

If it is within the rules of the board, could we get a list of links to boards from other teams from the Big 12, and other top flight teams. I enjoy visiting other boardsfrom time to time. We've had some great folks from other team boards find us, and have shared some good conversations and would like to do the same. I've tried the google thing, but usually the list of links takes you to boards with very little traffic, and I know the team I'm checking out has got to have a better board than what I could find.

If he can get a freekin kickoff in the endzone, we'll just trade them straight up.

This would be my 3rd trip,after going to USC and KC. I just cant neglect my work again.Also, new Years eve in Dallas isn't that appealing.

Just an update about that former football/wrestling recruit.His name was Ryan Goodman, and if you remember, he was as high as the 2nd string QB at one point,but slipped down to 3rd or 4th. He was a redshirt in wrestling and unquestionably the heir appearent at 197 pounds when Padden graduated, and I heard he was beating Padden some in the practice room. If you remember,his medling dad thought his son was a future NFL quarterback, so they hunted for a place where his son could showcase his obvious talent. They settled at North Carolina State, where he quit football after 1 year because the coaches there didn't recognize his talent either.He's no longer playing football, but has had a successful wrestling career to this point,just too bad it's not as a Husker.

Another recent topic brought up a player putting on a bunch of weight out of highschool,and it reminds me of smith's story.I believe, if memory serves me, that he was from Louisiana, and was like 250 or so, with a 5.1 or 5.2 forty time, and by the time he played as a sophmore, Boyd Epply had put 30+ pounds on him and lowered his time 1/4 second or so.

You can kill a troll by ignoring him.He's got like 10 posts, and all negative.My guess is he's 14 years old, since he does know how to cut and paste, and supports another team, or gets his jollies by antagonism of others.Dont play the game..

I dont miss it that much,and especially the years with Solich. The Crouch years were the worst,where he was the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd option.Daily was just as bad, where a lot of plays there was no option,but a 'I keep the ball right', or 'I keep the ball left' mentality. which appearently was ok with the coaching staff.

I had my doubts at first, but the WCO will work against any team, provided you have players recruited to fill that system.We are closer to that scenario than we've been, and it should get better with the young players coming up.

It does no good to bring up the old option system, since we have neither a coaching staff, nor players to execute it.Get back on the Husker wagon, and ride into the future!

Agreed. It will be fun to have another set of brothers on the team. I'm sure he'll enjoy playing for coach Wagner, and it will allow him to forget the bad situation he left behind.

Actually, Roark was scheduled to start their spring game, because the starter missed spring ball while rehabbing from injury.

You gotta remember what you looked like out of highschool.Skinny,lanky? You're at your optimal growth age, and if he hadn't been hitting the weightroom hard in highschool, I can see him putting on the feedbag, plus legal supplements, and gaining that weight.

I think I'd get wyatt on a plane to reassure this guy about his committment.
