Soldier Field would be awesome or the Lions stadium as well, it looks very nice.
Its gotta be Lucas Oil in Indy. Centrally located, no December weather, and you don't have to go to Detroit.

don't know about you, but for me this is a sureal moment. At 43, I have followed this team since I was a baby. living across the street from Bob Devaney and our extended family owning the Big Red shop across the street from the stadium for years and having been to games all over the big 8 and big 12. I am going to deeply miss the Big12 conference schools. I am going to miss leavng KC and getting to a game inside 3 hours anywhere in the North. While I am very excited about our future, I will deeply miss places and all the fun I have had in placed like Ames, Manhattan, Lawrence, Columbia. And I wish them and their fans all the luck in the world.
I feel your pain but my situation is almost exactly opposite. I currently live in Indianapolis and rarely get to go to games. That all changed for me today and I can't even describe how excited I am!! Several Big 10 schools are within a few hours of me. IU, Purdue, Illinois, Northwestern, Columbus, and even East Lansing and Ann Arbor. Also, it will be awesome not having a regional Big 10 game on ABC have priority over the Huskers anymore! Go Big Red!!!

That would be sweet if he were #93.
Looks like Vanden Bosch will be 93. I'm guessing the veteran gets it over the rookie.

I disagree. I am a fan of both Tulsa and Nebraska. Mainly because my sister lives in Tulsa and it is a sweet town. If there was a player who chose between Nebraska and Tulsa and decided to go to Tulsa I would be happy about it. I have to say I have a lot more Nebraska shirts than Tulsa shirts though.
I'm also a Nebraska and Tulsa fan. I grew up in Nebraska and lived there from birth to 18 years old. I was born a Husker fan and I'll die one. I, however, went to the University of Tulsa because I wanted to play soccer in college and NU does not have men's varsity soccer. During my time there, I grew to be a diehard fan of all Tulsa sports the same way that I am with all Husker sports. So to say that someone can't be a diehard fan of two schools is absolutely ridiculous.

Brandon Rigoni because of his huge effort on and off the field. Being only 5' 9" myself, I have to support the smaller guy that played big!

Best of luck to him...he's going to need it if he plays anywhere else in the Big XII. He may want to watch videos of what the Blackshirts did to his brother, McCoy and the other QBs in the league!

the fiesta is impossible. i do not understand why we are not being talked about for the Cotton though, i think we are more deserving than OK State.

Agreed! Higher ranked and made it to the CCG. That loss shouldn't be allowed to count against us for conference standings.

Here is the coverage map for the NU/OU game. GO BIG RED!!!!!!!!!
This is the best news I have heard all week, I don't have to PPV it and it will be In HD!! life is good.... I just hope we can make a game of it.
Even though it pisses me off, this coverage map actually makes sense for Indianapolis considering we're only 90 mi from Cincy. Looks like I'll be at the bar.

we tried a trick play against oklahoma last year (a fake field goal run) and they "intercepted" the over-the-shoulder toss and scored.
The reason that didn't work against CU was because we'd used it successfully earlier in the year and LSU had used it successfully the year before that. That's one of those plays that you use once in a lifetime and then, once its on film, just put it away and forget about it.

OMFG, stop with the stupid swine flu stuff. It's no worse than the regular flu, it's just a media driven scare....
Exactly.
They put 'Swine' in front of flu and people went, "OH NOES, WE GON DIE!!!!"
I couldn't agree more. There will be around 30,000 deaths from regular flu this year in the US as opposed to the couple hundred from H1N1. The media can make the American public believe whatever they want.

If history serves me correctly (NU/VT weekend), in Indiana we'll get the Big 10 game and the Pac 10 game and no NU game. Its pretty ridiculous to think that the midwest cares one bit about the Pac 10.
-
Don't forget Houston! Do they drop out after the loss to UTEP? CUSA rarely gets the benefit of the doubt. Also, where does OU land after their loss tonight? Will they stay ahead of quality 1 loss teams??
-
What a joke. Does ANYONE east of the Mississippi care about USC? Can't they just go back to showing those games at 10:30 pm EST?

Huskers - 52
ASU - 14
Passing - 225
Rushing - 300

As a high school student at an LSU football camp, Trindon Holliday ran a 4.27 (hand timed) in basketball shoes from a standing start...twice in a row.

Indiana by way of Norfolk, NE!

Anyone in the Indianapolis area know of a Husker friendly location? I loved Neon Johnny's and its going to be hard to top it, but with all of the games on PPV and missing some due to regional Big 10 games I'd like to find a place where a bunch of us could meet and defray the cost. Any ideas?

So Eric Hagg doesn't crack the 2-deep next season???
-
You mean three options like 1) hand to the fullback, 2) pitch to the running back, 3) keep it?
-
I'd cheer for Tulsa, my alma mater. We need everyone we can get! Plus if I wanted to go to a game, I could get great seats for $40.

Their votes may not really matter, but they really do watch a whole lot more football than any of the coaches do.
