You have to think at this point that teams are somewhat scared of that he might play football.
we can hope!!!!

Harrison is there... he wouldnt have been invited if he wasnt going to go in the first 2 rounds... Thats my understanding. If he would fall to round 3... He might come to Neb. I dunno. Reetz was projected 2nd to 3rd round. If he falls to round 3 or later, he will more than likely be coming to Neb

does KC take harrison and take another Husker Football/Baseball recruit?
-
didnt it used to be called the Supplemental round?

round 1 is over. Competitive balance round starts in a couple mins.. 1minute in between picks
-
reetz will be 2nd round or later. Harrison should be any pick now
-
He's for a few more mins.....

Three Nebraska baseball signees ended up on Baseball America’s Top 500 draft prospect list (FREE): http://bit.ly/1kmXksI #Huskers
Nebraska signee Monte Harrison is the No. 20 draftable prospect in the country according to Baseball America's final pre-draft list released Tuesday. Harrison is joined by Norris, Neb., catcher Jakson Reetz at No. 62, and Puerto Rican signee Luis Alvarado at No. 493.
The first round of the MLB Draft gets underway on Thursday evening, with later round to follow later in the weekend. No player currently on Nebraska's roster made the list. The deadline for MLB draft picks to sign professional contracts is July 18.what list.... to be drafted or top picks?
I assume draft-eligible. Almost has to be because Boldt is a top three projection in two years.
im surprised, I would have thought that Sinclair, DeLeon, and Hirsch would all get drafted... even if in late rounds. also possibly Pritch, Kubat, Bummer, and Kelly.

it sucks that the season is over.... 9-10 weeks fly by... the ups, the downs, the evolution of the team and the excitement that goes with it. I hope Erstad can land some top talent and keep the train rolling!
-
its to bad we couldnt make it to monday, forcing a 2nd game with Okie lite, and seeing DeLeon pitch one more time!
-
Erstad def. has them going in the right direction. The team willed themselves to some victories. I think there is some really good young talent on this squad for next year that will help move this team to a super regional berth next year. I am proud of what this team accomplished and am the most excited Ive been about this program in several years!

Its amazing to see some of the teams that have punched their ticket to the supers... First and foremost the newest member of the B1G Maryland... who will def help the B1G with RPI, etc. Then College of Charleston, Pepperdine, and Kennesaw State. Oregon state is in trouble, LSU was forced to game two of regional final by Houston, and teams out include South Carolina, Miami, Florida st. ASU and others that are perennial powerhouses.

OK, CSF will be a challenge no doubt as I believe (correct me if I am wrong), but I thought these guys were a pre-season #1 in some sectors?
Yes they were preseason #1.
BTW I didn't know what a jasper of a Don was before that regional. But that regional we were lucky to get a top 8 seed. We had a horrible last month of the season losing several series and not being competitive in the big 12 tournament. I was very surprised about a top 8 seed.

Makes sense. He didn't have a great post season but I doubt that is going to effect his status much if any

Harrison was invited to New York... He will be going early.
Sean pry knows more than me but I've heard conflicting stories with Reetz. If he is top 2 rounds he goes. If not he's N

While of course it would be great to have DeLeon back the thing that worries most about this team is their inability to score runs and wasted opportunities. is it just me or does this team consistently get runners in scoring position with 0 or 1 out and then fail to score runs? Conversely, it seems as if teams are having very good 2-out success against the Huskers. in fact, i think 95huskers and huskrfan4life compiled the statistics on this last item. Even with Deleon's injury i think we still have the pitching to be extremely competitive in this regional. Probably a rather obvious statement, but the Husker's ability to score more than 3 or 4 runs a game will decide if they advance, or not.
It should be a fun regional. And as I have stated before I would love to win this region and believe we can, I will be more than satisfied if this team puts themselves in position to win this region. Ie if nebraska is facing Okie lite in regional championship and happen to have 1 loss, to force a game two would be satisfactory to me.

I've heard it's tendinitis. The only thing that helps is rest

UNLV will give the Beavers a run for their money. Depending on how they work their rotation I K ow they have 2 top notch pitchers. One of which is looking to be a 1st rounder in the upcoming draft. IF nebraska would happen to have the chips fall their way and UNLV, Nebraska could host the super.... not sure how the seeding is between the 2.

Did not like the at bat by Pritchard, on a 2-0 count you swing?
I don't know how he has been throwing but typically u see the best pitch 0-2
What's the score what's going on? Is the game still going?

he took up residence in Florida to get a tax break... does he really have any intention of coming....? There are so many good arms in this draft... maybe thats the reason he is falling?
