Just my guess: Bo's narrative is that Perlman never liked him, or perhaps didn't like him after the A&M incident, and so waited for TO to retire and brought in Eichorst to fire Bo at the appropriate time.

What "truth" is there to know? They're making it sound like Bo has cancer or something and resigned. This smacks of Bo injecting some conspiracy theory into the player's minds about how everyone was out to get him.

Someone needs to write a tell-all book about Nebraska football from the 2002 season to Bo's firing. That would be amazing.

He tried to sabotage the program when he left the first time.
Never said a word about him not being liked.
What I said is he will do the same thing again, unless the heavy use of social media works in a positive manor. We have reports of coaches going ballistic, negative recruiting from within the walls. Where do those ideas come from.
My guess is he was prevented from attending a scheduled meeting, but have no idea if that is the case.
I would guess you are going to learn a lot of things going down the road. Things that are going to make you quite angry. A lot of the Pelini story will come out after he is gone. Give it 6 months and if I owe you an apology you will get it.
How did he sabotage this program back in 03?
Several reports,of,completely crushing NU to recruits.
There are other stories about his behavior at the 03 Alamo Bowl and what he let the players do as well.

My buddy works at LNK. Perlman flew out to San Fran through Denver the day before Bo got fired. Still hasn't returned.

I have been coming to HB for years and have gotten a lot of great info from the posters on here, so when a friend of mine, who has no reason to lie to me texted me some info that might be of interest, I thought it would do the right thing and pass it along. I'm not exactly an attention seeker on this board and prefer to use it to find out what's going on. I don't have that much to contribute so when something like this is passed along to me I feel like I should pull my weight a little as well. Next time I won't bother.

You can add another Jim Tressel sighting. A good friend texted me about an hour ago and said that JT and Harvey Pearlman were then sitting down together at a discreet location downtown and chatting.
I just don't get it. If JT is in fact being hired, why would they not go out of their way to make sure they meet somewhere in which he cannot be seen. And if he is just consulting why not come out and publicly acknowledge that JT is indeed in town but only here in a advisory fashion.

Not when they have a field bet.Vegas would not take Jim Tressel's name off their betting board if they know "for sure" he will not get the job. They would lose money by doing so.

Do me a favor, dont wish the coach well because frankly you were all a$$hole$ to him and what he has done here.
If you knew how Bo treated some fans, media members and boosters over the years, the message board criticisms you are so concerned about would look like summer camp Kumbaya.
