Just imagine what it would have been like if Nebraska had won. I was on here the other day talking about how I had ran into quite a few Buff fans who were classless. After this wkd, I'm not sure at all I can complain about the peope from Colorado. Its a shame that you never want to go back however I can't blame you in the least. Barnacle.....

Let me clarify what I meant by the wording of that. What I am saying is that it is wrong for them to say that to anyone but shows more cowardice to say that to ederly couples. Would they have been saying that had Purify, Lucky and Friends had they been walking down the street? Maybe, but I highly doubt it. "Be sure Brain is in Gear before engaging Mouth!". Maybe I shouldn't have said it wouldn't have been so bad, rather I should have said it showed more cowardice screaming at an elderly couple. Which it did. Barnacle....

I don't understand the name-calling that occurs on these subjects. I have been to multiple stadiums and you always get some ribbing. When you wear your colors, as I always do, I kind of expect it. All stadiums and fan bases have their knuckleheads, yes even in Lincoln. Good Luck to the Huskers the rest of the year I was kidding lol. No one is as bad as aggy. Mizzou fans were yelling at two ederly couples walking on the street. They were saying and I quote: "Gimmie your F*N Pension Checks!" and "Go Back to $*%& Huskerland". I hate to see people from my home state doing this but they were classless. I hope they flunk out. Barnacle.....

I was very unimpressed with a good handfull of Mizzou Fans. I know that every school has these but we were tailgating and I saw numerous things that made our Tiger Fan base look bad. I over heard a large group of Mizzou fans yelling at some husker fans. I walked over to see who they were starting crap with (we were on a parking garage rooftop and they were yelling at husker fans on the street). Now, it wouldn't have been quite as bad had the Husker Fans not been 70 YEARS OLD! I myself treated all Husker Fans with respect and met alot of nice Nebraska faithful. So, if the guy wearing the Frazier jersey is reading this it was good to meet you.....Hope you all don't look at the majority of Mizzou fans as bad I did see things that made me feel bad about some of my Mizzou Brethren. Just venting..... Barnacle.....

I am one Missouri Fan who hates that other fans feel this way personally. I could tailgate with fans from any School (Kansas? Ouch). But I'm not denying it doesn't happen. Its college, thats not an excuse but it is reality i guess. I've not had any problems with any other Schools at games whether it be in Columbia or somewhere else. Do I have a "least favorite" Crowd? From my experiences that would have to be Colorado. I've seen too many rude and classless people with Buff shirts on but I don't believe for one second that the majority of the fans from Boulder are "Classless"..... Barnacle...

I do agree with you that Mizzou's History isn't anything to brag about. I mean look at it this way. The two biggest games in the last 20 years were both losses. Yes, one of them WAS a FLUKE! But losses nevertheless. So in that regard, yes a little pathetic but we are playing Nebraska, one of the most storied programs in recent history so getting to play and a possible victory against Nebraska especially with "an up for grabs Big 12 North" at this point is a BIG deal down in Columbia. I think everyone realizes this isn't the 95 or 97 Huskers but they are STILL NU with a vaunted history and a big name. The Tigers could be playing LSU or USC and I'm not sure the game could be any bigger in COMO than this game against Nebraska. I posted a youtube of our second loss or should I say the KING of MORAL Victories for Mizzou???? Oh, and as far as any trashtalking. Look at the Kansas Board, these are the things we are used to all year long. Why is it taking place with NU? I have not a clue. Its usually the Jayhawkers who we talk trash about....Hmmm.. I'm a big Mizzou Fan and I wanna say as well that it was a good assessment of the game. It looks to be very even to me between our two teams however I wouldn't be suprised to see either team run away with this seeing as how this year has panned out thus far. On a sidenote: I'm impressed with the vast majority of Nebraska Fans. They seem to know their football and are not mouthy in general (sure, there are a few bad eggs with every school) but very nice and knowledgable for the most part. I was on a National College Football Message Board the other day and it seems everyone from the Big East, ACC, SEC, etc enjoys mouthing the Big 12 and especially the Huskers, the worst coming from WVU and Rutgers (I've seen very few posts from these schools that weren't nasty). Also, the NU fans as a whole are steps above the Buff fans. (Yes, as far as the Big 12 goes, the CU fans are the most cocky for sure in my experiences). I know I know, I'm supposed to mouth our Jayhawk Rivals but I see what I see... Here's to a good game and Welcome to Columbia.... Barnacle....

Salem Missouri. 1993 I believe it was. Two Undefeated teams meeting up (Salem vs Webb City). We were basically manhandled in a 41-0 Shutout. Webb were monsters even without Wistrom.... Barnacle.....

Hi Guys, I was just wondering if any of you might know where I could get a Video of the 1997 NU/MU Flea Kicker Game at? Being a Big Mizzou fan and also a Grant Wistrom fan (played him in high school) I thought you guys over here on the Husker board might give me a tip. I've seen some of the game on You Tube under Corby Jones Highlights but I'd like to actually have a video if there is even some out there. I know ABC covered it.
