  1. I never said to worry about it. I was just throwing it out there, if you don't dig it you can just throw it back. I realize this Bottom 10 is a joke thing with the #5 spot reserved for that weeks worst performer. It's still not something that is coveted even if it is a joke.

  2. AND if they don't know who to block because all the "moving around" then just BLOCK SOMEBODY, ANYBODY. But they don't even do that half the time. I didn't play offensive line in HS but I know the first rule for the O-lineman was if you don't know who to block just find someone to block and don't get caught watching.

  3. Well obviously the way to beat this team is "Move around a lot up front to confuse them and then they can't block." GIVE ME A BREAK! If it is that easy to confuse our offensive line about who to block that is disgusting. That is on the coach. He is supposed to get the players prepared to know who to block, not just in stuff they see on tape but in other situation when they see something that was NOT on tape, they should be able to work together to figure out who blocks who. But if the D-line moves and doesn't stand in one spot for them then crap, they are screwed! Missouri didn't seem to have much of a problem with Nebraska's "moving rover" strategy in Pierre Allen and I am pretty damn sure he wasn't standing still!!! What a joke. Maybe they should just ask the opposing defense to stand still for a second so we can take role call and figure out who will block what guy before we snap the ball. That'll work. :boxosoap:rant

  4. Could we agree that watson was only kept around probally becase of callahans players and to ease into the transition of bos game plan. If watson doesnt work out this year he could be headed down the road. I think he was only kept around for ganz and ganz is gone this year. The last few rements of a bad staff gone for good. But thats just my opinion.

I said this two weeks ago before the VT game and people didn't agree with me.

  5. I am disgusted with his play calling this year. It just saddens me to learn that callahan's offense was actually very very good and watson cant decide whether or not he feels like running the ball. If Kiffin becomes availiable which he is....WE NEED TO HIRE HIM NOW

People need to shut the h*ll up about hiring Lane Kiffin as an offensive coordinator! This is almost as stupid as people last year thinking Bo should be head coach and Turner would be willing to come back and be offensive coordinator. I seriously doubt some of the intelligence of people. Do the posters who think Kiffin would come take an offensive coordinator job in college AFTER he was a head coach in the NFL have any common sense? To me they just think the world revolves around Nebraska football and anyone and everyone should want to have a job with this program, even if it means picking up the players jocks. Get in the real world. Kiffin would not consider an offensive coordinator job. You do not move down in Position UNLESS you really sucked at the higher level position, or you CAN NOT get hired at the higher level position, or you are too old to handle the higher level position! :boxosoap:rant

  6. mizzou, i dont think i dislike any team more than the tigers. your thoughts?

MU top drawer rival is KU. All sport all time. That never change"s.

This can be not of my busness dince I"m not top GBR fan but I don"t like to say hating on a nother team. Huckerfantim you didn"t say hate but lot"s of other do. I don"t understand some of that, sorry.I say I don"t like some team"s, but hate can be not healty. Some time when a person say hate can be real close as a nother feelling which is oposite.

Plus also I don"t rember to many fan"s hating on a team they all way"s can beat. Who ever said they hate KSU in 60, 70, 80? All chang when they start to win. to me, Hate can mean i want what they have.

Could be some one might start not likeing Baylor and we can know why.

And no one ask, but I don"t hate KU or fan"s. I like talk to them and some time"s argue which cna be find.

I love when TAH win but don"t hate the other team when we lose. For me that would have been to much hating in my life.

    :moreinteresting

I can tell most are mad at TAH at this time for more one reason or a nother. I"ve been reading alot. Time for me to go.

    Good luck rest of year.

    TuffTiger

    Columbia,MU.

It's not you Tuff Tiger, it's the gloating fans who are not like you. You DO have respect for Nebraska even though they are down, others do not and think this recent success allows them to throw out all the years that Nebraska has dominated them like it didn't even happen. They refuse to respect what happened previously, while Nebraska fans would be more than happy to respect Mizzou at the level they are right now, God knows I do, but the disrespect from Daniel and the fans is just off-putting.

  7. I think IF NU and MU were competing year in and year out with eachother for the Big 12 north title (as NU and OU did for Big 8 championships) then you would be able to say they are rivals. But unfortunately Mizzou is competing with Kansas for this spot and were very relevant when Nebraska was relevant.

In My Opinion this matchup needs the following to be a Rivalry:

    1. Both teams finishing 1st or 2nd in the north almost every year with the North championship hinging on the meeting between the two. This would establish the basis for the rivalry.

    2. Criteria 1 would need to happen for more than 1 or 2 years, it needs to be a lasting thing, not a flash in the pan. Longevity is needed.

    3. In years where one team is down, i.e. Nebraska at present time, then people would still look at that game as a game where you can throw out the records and stats because anything goes. And the lower team would have a serious stake in being the season spoiler for the better team and actually have a chance to do it because the emotion of the situation makes up for the lack of talent or whatever.

    4. Both teams need to have a mutual respect for eachother. They each need to know that whatever has happened during the season, this game could go either way. And they do not disrespect the other team or kick them when they are down because you know it could come back to haunt you the following year. (I don't think Mizzou has respect for the Nebraska program.)

These are just my opinions as to what would need to happen in this matchup to make it a rivalry. Right now I don't think any of these points have been met.

  8. I hope we can get Pinkel on record denying or dismissing the incident; otherwise this will go down with the throat slash, "f'ing hillbillies", etc.. we don't need that, and we certainly don't need it with BO as head coach.

Pinkel already said in his big 12 teleconference that as far as Mizzou is concerned it is over with.

"over with" does not mean mizzou is denying it happened. anyone have an exact quote?

Pelini is not denying it happened either. It says both coaches did not know about it at game time and when Pelini talked to Pinkel he said it "was a little gray" when it comes to who did it.

  10. This will be up on ESPN soon because an article was already on the front page about the spitting incident. Get ready for some more bashing.

I for one wish that this whole incident would just die. Pelni is up next on the Big 12 teleconference. I am sure he will comment on it.

During his segment on the teleconference Pinkel said the issue was over that he and Pelini had communitcated and it was time to move on. He refused to answer any additional questions about it.

It'll be,"We know who it is, it will be handled internally." That's what his comment will be.

Hopefully ESPN will move on after then. I really wish Daniel would just not have said anything.

He just said they did an internal investigation and he addressed the team and it's over. Then he said he talked to Pinkel and,"it's a little gray." as far as who it was.

  11. [Pelini told the Lincoln Journal Star and Omaha World-Herald, "Usually you'd know about something like that.]

Cause usually others are around to witness it. I'm not calling Daniels a liar, or questioning his integrity, since I really can't say I know the guy, but wouldn't someone else have seen this?

Other guys did see it I think, it's just Daniel is the mouthpiece for the team.
