  1. I moved the entire Ivy league into the big east and do not allow myself to recruit anything higher than a 4 star. I am in my 8th season of the dynasty and tonight will play for the first time for the national championship against the dreaded oklahoma sooners and their high powered WRs.

I run the TO offense. Power that run game right at em. Speed on defense. Mostly Strong safetys at linebacker.

  2. Supposedly he ran a 4.49 in HS. This time was merely reported and never tested out at a NIKE camp. So it could be fluffed. I guess I don't really know about his 40 time, just passing on what I've heard.

  3. SoonerOLB,

It's not smart to come onto another teams board just to be an idiot. There's really no point to it. I myself am a member on Colorado, Missouri, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas A&M boards and I never go over to their sites being a tard. It's just pointless. It's a losing battle. A gang of people against 1, or a very few. How many NCAA violations does OU have? 6?

  4. In class B, Trevor should be able to to whatever he wants with almost any guy that lines up in front of him, but his technique is poor. Which is why a lot of times he doesn't look as impressive as he should. But like I said, he's got tremendous attitude, and tremendous upside and potential. technique can be taught. Redshirt him a year and let him get two solid years of learning how to play OL. Then unleash him into the world and watch your QB never getting sacked from that side of the line.

  5. you're right bigredfan in omaha. A lot of LDS's go to schools that are in more heavily Mormon-populated areas. After we lost out on our recruitment battle with Jarrett Lee, one of the QBs we were looking at was a kid out of Washington, named Jason Munns. Munns a Mormon and he ended up at BYU. He is just one case of many. Oregon beat out NU in the recruitment of Haloti Ngata because when Haloti got to Beaverton on his official, he was greeted by a Mormon priest who showed him all around town and all the different Mormon churches, etc.

By the way, it doesn't have to do with being Catholic, there's plenty of Catholics at public high school that I'm not worried about being snatched by Notre Dame, although Elkhorn high is public and I'm starting to get a little worried there, but Prep kids are always drawn to Notre Dame for some reason.

    Junior Bryant

    Tim Ridder

    Dan Gorski

just to name a few, and Zach Potter almost went there.

The president of Notre Dame...Prep grad.

  6. Trevor has really got to work on his technique. technique is what he doesn't have, and that can be taught. What trevor has are the things that can't be taught. A nonstop motor, size, agility, etc.

This is the first time in his recruitment that I have become slightly worried about his chances at coming to Lincoln. I still think that NU is in the lead, but the gap is being closed.

Perhaps not. That's just how I'm seeing it.

  7. I can't help but wonder that Dillard will play at MIKE next year. It may just be Steve Octavien syndrome, but he looked so good in that opener last year against La Tech. Wow. Assuming his rehab goes swimmingly (get it? rehab, swimming...) I think he's a better LB than McKeon. Although, McKeon is no Carlos Polk, I think he's still too good to keep off the field. But he's not big enough to play SAM, so by default he goes to WILL. Same thing for Bo Ruud. Can't take him off the field, thus moved to SAM. But what about Brandenburgh and Octavien? These guys are good enough to start, aren't they?

This is a position that I think will be a lot more fun to watch in Spring ball than most are anticipating.

  8. This is if nobody gets shuffled around:

    WILL

    Bo Ruud

    Steve Octavien

    Nick Covey

    MIKE

    Corey McKeon

    Phillip Dillard

    Lance Brandenburgh

    SAM

    Lance Brandenburgh

    Clayton Sievers

This is if all the rumors are true:

    WILL

    Corey McKeon

    Steve Octavien

    Nick Covey

    MIKE

    Phillip Dillard

    Lance Brandenburgh

    SAM

    Bo Ruud

    Lance Brandenburgh

    Clayton Sievers

  9. People get caught up too much Ithink with numbers like 4.26 40 time. Does it really matter. Sam McGuffie is fast as hell. Whatever his time is he's not getting caught from behind. That's what his 40 time is.

but just a little something for ya, he did run a 3.8 sec shuttle time.
