As Doc said- you live by the jump shot, you die by the jump shot. Few buckets at the basket today.

As pointed out by many others, bowl games are looking to make money. This means they are looking for lots and lots of traveling fans to fill seats. The general feeling is that 1. Missouri fans travel poorly in the first place and 2. They definitely won't want to travel after losing 2 straight to end the season.
Simple case of a better fan base paying off.

Here is the vid of the laser pointer on Robinson.
-
Yeah the CU - Nebraska game in 2005 was an utter embarrassment. Took a 30 minute stoppage of the game to remove the students who were throwing things on the field.
Also, did anyone read the reports that a CU fan was shining a laser pointer in Zac Robinson's eyes last week against OSU?

I love his fire and determination. but he needs to control it much better.
There is nothing bogus about this. It is a fact and it is being displayed on National TV and repeetedly on the internet. It is not a positive for the University, nor is it a positive for Bo. I am sure we will see far less of it in the future. If not my guess is he will not be long. Nebraska is god fearing center of the country people and most do not approve of his actions. And the main one, and his boss does not I am certain.
This is just selection bias. If someone made a video selecting all the times in my life I have been over-the-top angry, it would make it appear as though I was crazy mad all the time, even if this wasn't the case. Same thing here- Bo has had a few tirades in the Oklahoma and VATech games, and they were strung together in a video, making it easy to forget all the times when he's just chilling.

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3682639 is currently linked on the front page of ESPN.
Article seems ridiculous to me overall. I've read that Pelini's constant badgering of officials has to do with defensive substitutions, as he doesn't feel that the Huskers are getting enough time to bring on other players after the offense makes substitutions. If this is the case, it might just be him trying to get used to things working different in the Big XII vs the SEC.
As for grabbing Terrence Moore's facemask, I agree with Pelini- you don't act childish and hit other players.
The article seems over blown to me as there is no good evidence that Pelini's "anger" is hampering the team.

I hope its not on MSN. I'm in Chicago and the city lost its FSN affiliate 2 years ago. Pretty strange that of all the places where you can't get FSN it's here.

Anyone think 4th down conversions are a bit lacking this year? I can think of a few instances, including the Baylor game this weekend, where we lined up and ran it on 4th and short, but were stuffed.
This year: 2-7 on 4th down attempts.
-
The big hits finally made a difference too- Griffin was taking shots left and right and it clearly impacted his ability to run in the second half. Good thing because that guy is mad fast.

Big 12Big 12 North Division
How it stands: Kansas is the only Big 12 North team with a winning record in conference play. Four teams -- Missouri, Kansas State, Nebraska and Colorado -- are 1-2 against Big 12 foes.
Favorite: Kansas. The No. 23 Jayhawks had won three games in a row before losing at Oklahoma 45-31 on Saturday. Missouri has lost two games in a row after it climbed to No. 3 in The Associated Press Top 25 poll. The division title might again be decided when Kansas and No. 15 Missouri play at Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium on Nov. 29.
Dark horse: Nebraska. Kansas and Missouri still seem to be head and shoulders above the rest of the division's teams. The Cornhuskers have lost three of their past four games, but play Baylor, Kansas and Colorado at home.
On the Mark pick: Missouri
South Division
How it stands: Three teams -- Oklahoma State, Texas and Texas Tech -- are 3-0 in Big 12 play. Oklahoma is close behind at 2-1 against conference foes.
Favorite: Texas. The No. 1 Longhorns have already beaten No. 4 Oklahoma and Missouri, and host No. 6 Oklahoma State on Saturday. Texas' biggest remaining hurdle is a Nov. 1 road game at No. 8 Texas Tech.
Dark horse: Oklahoma. The Longhorns would have to lose twice for the Sooners to win the division, but Oklahoma will be a heavy favorite in its next three games. The Sooners close the season with a home game against Texas Tech and a road game at Oklahoma State.
On the Mark pick: Texas
Conference champion: Texas
Still we'd have to win out and hope Missouri loses to Kansas.

ACC is worse than the Big Ten by far.
-
Sorry but we will not have a top 10 defense this year as the article suggests.
-
ESPN is reporting that VA Techs leading rusher has been dismissed from the team. Might have a large effect on the game in Lincoln this year.
-
This is nuts . . . we whittle it down to a four- or five-point margin, I blink, and KU is back up by nine or ten. What the heck?!
We're down by 12 at halftime. Still a great game- guys are playing their hearts out.
-
Some say that TO might re-hire Frank to coach. While this is freakin hilarious, is it out of the question? Would Tom do that?
No.
-
Contrast how the current team plays with how that team played. I know they had better athletes on average, but look at how every player threw a block on every play. There was one play where some TE blocked two guys one after another to spark a long run.
If the current plays like the 1995 teams with fire and loses, I don't think it would be as big of a deal. That 1995 team makes the current team look like they're just flat uninspired.

Ha this is really great.
Yeah I hope he doesn't get in trouble- should've been edited.
-
Did Callahan really call plays in the second half?
-
This has happened during every game I've listened to online. I also thought it was refreshing.
-
I understand what McBride said, but I don't get the impression that it rules out acting as an interim coach for a few games. Get the feeling he's talking about the long run.
-
I know I haven't been posting a lot of info, but I have a source close to boosters that corraborates what IBR has said.
-- Pelini in after LSU's season is over (could be a while since they may play in January)
-- Marvin Sanders is in the mix, but has to get out of his contract
-- Not sure on McBride acting as interim but is a possibility
-- Callahan has been asked to resign, but refused.
-- There is a high probability that Callahan will be removed after a loss to A&M (we shall see)
Evidently SP had a blow up after the Mizzou game in front of employees. Meyers quitting was a result of a meeting Meyers and a former player had with SP which SP never showed up for.
For what its worth...

Yeah the lack of defensive adjustment is absolutely disgusting.
Quick Question for you Huskers...

After Tillman and Vasher got hurt he started special teams. He got a pick and recovered a fumble for a TD. He was named NFC special teams player of the week.
Then he got hurt.
