HERE IS WHAT WE ALL SHOULD BE TALKING ABOUT, NOT SPOILED FOOTBALL PLAYERS WHO GET IN TROUBLE! the following is the route the real MEN will take Sun when they come home to Lincoln, get off your butts and show the troops how much we appreciate everything they have done, pass it on, every cititzen of Lincoln who can should attend, let them know we really do support them! OFFICIAL HOMECOMING INFORMATION (As per CPT Jan Behn, Homecoming Coordinator) -The 1-167th CAV (HHT & B Troop) and 134th LRS are to be bussed (not flown,) leaving Ft. McCoy, at 2:00 A.M., on June 24th. -As requested by the Unit, they will take the Waverly Exit, arriving at the outskirts of Lincoln at approximately 10:00 A.M., (June 24th) and proceed to 84th and "O" Streets. -They are to continue down "O" Street with a Police escort, along with the American Legion Riders and Patriot Guard Riders, (not stopping at traffic lights.) This will be helpful as the Soldiers' baggage will be placed at the coordinating parking area. Military Personnel will be available for assistance, at the entrance to the parking area. The map also shows the line up order of the busses. (Busses 1 & 2-HHT, Busses 3 & 4-B Troop, and Busses 5 & 6-LRS.) Family members should line up along the front of the stadium according to where their Soldier's bus will be located. Please allow enough space for Soldiers to depart the busses. -Haymarket Park is located at 403 Line Drive Circle, (kitty-corner from the Husker's Memorial Stadium.). It can be seen on the west side of I-180, and there are large green interstate type signs showing the way. (Additional directions, below.) -Be flexible with the time, as it may vary by at least an hour.
