  1. based on everything i have read in this thread i think it is safe to say that SC fans and Colorado fans have A LOT in common. They talk out their @$$e$.
  2. Try this forum ... Plan-it husker (texas)
  3. Arkansas, the SEC runner-up=mediocre? Doubtful. They looked good in the michigan game too. but yes OSU is overrated as is the big 10 in general. on second thought, scratch the thought of me sticking up for them in the michigan game. Everybody looked good against michigan except notre dame. Ball St.?????????
  4. you wouldn't be refering to curt dukes would you?
  5. in all this talk about tight ends i can't believe everybody left the greatest husker tight end ever off their lists. Junior Miller one of the highest drafted tight ends ever.
  6. for me, i usually only make the non-conference games. My favorite was crouch's coming out party against cal '99 45-0 beatdown
  7. just a couple of things, mike brown was a rover which meant he could play any db position and as for the best corner, there are many options but i'd say ralph brown or tyrone williams
  8. im going WAY old school on this. I'd go with mick tingelhoff (great o-lineman) and Tom "trainwreck" Novak on D
  9. i hope broncos fans arent the same way cause i got tickets to see my first ever steelers game and its in denver
  10. i wish they'd tell you who is going to be in what part of the stadium each year so i know which gate to enter.
  11. that was the worst day of my life. that was the first and only one of two times i walked out of a job in the middle of a shift. Got my job back the next day then walked out in the middle of a shift during the kansas game and that was it. I vowed to never work a job during a husker game again.
  12. well according to my e-mail from jduff head of football operations, the gates open at 10 and i didn't know that stuff about the 5k, i might have to do that now
  13. Do you think we can drop two Big XII games and still win the North? That's what happened last year, right? And we could have dropped 3. To win the North, we need to beat make sure we beat all the other North teams; if we do, I think going 6-2 in conference is acceptable, or even 6-3 as long as we hold all the tiebreakers. But I expect no worse than a 6-2 conference record; it's what we had last year and very close to a 7-1 as well. realistically we were a second half meltdown and a fumble from going undefeated in conference play
  14. i wanna know who is going to fan day. who will be in line at 8 in the morning on aug. 18th? My nephew is turning four years old that week andim making sure it'll be his first time inside memorial stadium. Go Huskers
  15. But what if I'm an Aggie and a Husker Fan? I don't WANNA get kicked in the boys! Don't let anyone see you wearing an aggie hat..... Plus I shoulda just directed it toward the Texas hat, It seems like everyone effin' has one these days I had a Texas hat once. I got it from a cousin so i used it to dust my tv so i could see the husker game clearer. Only good use for a texas hat.
  16. A&M game is actually set on the schedule as a B******. Where did you see that it is "set as a *****out?" the students organize the whole thing, i believe. so im assuming he either is a student or has spoken to one about it..could be wrong, but im just guessing I currently am not a student but a bunch of my friends are. I heard it from my cousin john hes in his seventh year at UNL so he knows everything going on.
  17. i disagree, CSU has been better then ISU in the past, just that it plays in the WAC or what ever it is called now. I think the reason that they would want sCUm in the BIG 10 would be the TV market of Denver and the recruiting base of Colorado. as you can see there are some pretty good players coming out of colorado. i think that Missouri would be a better fit for them, and they mentioned Syracuse, Pitt, and Rutgers also I think Rutgers would be a good take for them. College football is not too big in NYC, but Rutgers is adding interest there, and I think the Big 10 would be interested in that. Plus a great market for recruits. Someone else said Syracuse, but I think Rutgers would be the better take because they have a team and coach on the rise. And takins ISU wouldn't be smart for them imo. It's not like they're good. They would just be a doormat for UM, OSU, and any other team there Hell we picked up Baylor. when the big 12 picked up baylor they were winning 6 or 7 games a year and were competitive in the southwest conference or whatever it was called
  18. my apologies to the board. didnt know the sensitivity of the subject
  19. A&M game is actually set on the schedule as a B******.
  20. he wasnt a senior? it seems like hes been on the team forever
  21. idk about missouri. they have a trophy game with nebraska and they have that rivalry game with kansas in arrowhead every year. I say be gone with Iowa St. McCarney was the only thing keeping that team "afloat". Colorado St. faces a few good teams every year. They can beat baylor and split with kansas. It also adds another good rivalry to the big 12. Over the past eight years i think theyve taken 3 or 4 from colorado. Another thought is that they could reconfigure the big 12 into east and west divisions and bring in TCU. A great fit. Either team would be a step above Iowa St. I think so i say be gone with the cyclones
  22. if that were to happen the big 12 would need another north team. Maybe Colorado St.?
  23. ill only be 18 then :'[ but im glad i can help keep wildcat fans out of memorial stadium anytime. buying up their tickets was thanks enough
  24. it wont be the "visiting section" if we keep buying up their tickets
  25. i think it just goes to show how small and unloyal their fan base is
