  1. "I'm looking for a place where my mom can trust me being there, and not be worried about me. A place she'll know I'm being taken care of and well watched during school. Also somewhere I know there is going to be good coaching, and they're always staying on me."

The eyes of Bo will be on you.

i dont think from that list you'll find a safer place that lincoln..... compared to crensaw Lincoln might as well be a disney land ride.....

Not so fast irie, there are some pretty rough neighborhoods in every major city. Even "little old Lincoln".

Um........ not really.... There is nowhere in Lincoln that I am nervous walking down the street at 2:00am......

There are parts blocks away from USC however, that I would be nervous walking down the street at 2:00 pm..........

Not that this really matters, and I really don't want to derail the thread too much.... But I doubt there are many(if any) safer 225k+ cities than Lincoln.......

  2. So everyone is CLEAR....

SAM BRADFORD IS A JUNIOR. HE HAS NO NEED FOR A MEDICAL REDSHIRT. IF HE WISHES TO COME BACK NEXT YEAR, HE HAS ELIGIBILITY.........

    off :boxosoap

Sorry, I just see the medical redshirt question a lot. And I'm not sure where the mis-conseption comes from that this is his senior year, but it isn't SUH was a 2005 recruit. Bradford was a 2006 recruit..........

  3. OMG OMG OMG there is a b1ackout for his background!! (blackground?)

As much as people around here whine every time that the "b word" is mentioned, I find this absolutely comical.

I know huh...... That was the first thing that popped into my head....... Like "OMG- Bo supports a blackot" This board will go into a total tailspin.......

  4.

For those who don't care to look it up Lancaster had 37 seizures that same year. So within the immediate vicinity of the two universities there are 76% more meth labs at NU. This is a real shame, because I was honestly considering going to a Nebraska football game next year. I just don't want to go to that meth infested sh!thole now.

Way to read your own information

Boone county 10 labs........ Lancaster 6 labs.........

Lancaster had 16 dump sites........... and 9 equipment busts........ Which could be part factor of having the nations busiest interstate going through it.......

  5. listening to USC now............

    Post practice interview...........

Pelini says: Helu was out of practice because he was sick, doesn't think he will be out of the game......... He said a few other guys were not at practice today...........

Pelini dispelled the rumors, but said there are a few guys that are sick.......... So guys are sick but not necessarily the flu, let alone h1n1

Then again, Bo doesn't use a lot of words................

Not as worried about it as I was a hour ago, but the thought that Helu was out of practice is concerning.............

  6. I wouldn't say Bradford is disappointed about his decision. He's probably enjoying the college life. The money will be their (even if he somehow gets a career ending injury he'll still have a diploma and learn to live comfortably with less money). Plus I was under the assumption that he's only a Junior (redshirt) and could come back again.

Not to mention a 3 million dollar insurance policy..............

All indications are he will be back NEXT year for his senior year........

He isn't any different for many of us who dreamed of playing for the huskers, if you were playing for the huskers and thought you had the ability to take them to a NC would you? Or would you go pro?

  7. Good (very early) morning Huskers,

I saw that you guys had a big game this week so I thought I should register and wish you guys luck. As best as we can tell in hokie land Nebraska, Texas A&M, and Kansas all have classy fans and Missouri is something like the Big 12 equilivant of WVU.

Speaking of classy fans I really enjoyed interacting with the Huskers that made the trip to Blacksburg. I heard so many stories about how awesome your fans were last year in Lincoln and after talking with the Huskers in Blacksburg I can believe it. Good guys all around. Also applauding your team after they lost the way they did really impressed me as well. I have always thought that VT had amazing fans, but I must admit that we have been outdone in that department.

Good luck the rest of the season and win the Big 12 for us

    Go Hokies and

    Go Huskers!

Probably were applauding both teams................. That's how we roll.......

And thanks for the kinds words, if you like football stick around......... We still have a Clemson fan that just won't leave(not that we want him too), it's nice having outsiders around....

  8. Another thought..........

K-state probably isn't the best game to do this..........

Yes it would take off and probably be pretty pink in the stands with the efforts of Dr. Tom and Snyder.....

But the reality is Nebraska vs K-State will likely be a ppv game.........

It is a little early to get it going for the TTech game........

Best bet would be the OU game, most likely to be a nationally televised game..............

  9. I'd certainly be more aware of breasts in general, if girls went to the game topless! The players or fans wearing pink would be ok with me. I'm for it!

I'm a female Husker fan and think your reply is classless.

Don't take everything said on a msg board seriously, it will ruin you...........

    I'm sure it was sarcasm........

  10. Um, wow....

    Talk about stretching things.

    Here is the rivals teaser..........

"Louisville (Ohio) wide receiver Bobby Swigert liked everything about his visit to Nebraska over the weekend. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound standout was accompanied on his trip by his father, mother and uncle and all enjoyed the experience of a football Saturday in Lincoln. Did he consider pulling the trigger on a commit?"

  11. Lee will obviously be the starter again against M"eth"U but i would not argue if green gets the start this week so that Lee can be fully healed and ready to whip some ass next thursday....

.....and no i do not want green to start outside of this game!

It doesn't sound as if it's a big enough of a deal for him not to start, I wonder how early in the VT game he received this injury. Either way the non-throwing hand shouldn't affect anything except receiving snaps and handoffs...

  12. I am in the dog house already.

My granddaughters first birthday party is tomorrow at 2 pm. No game day at my son's house so I am staying home to watch the game. The daugher in law is not happy with me. OH Darn

If she was 5 or something I might be concerned, at one who the hell cares.

Sorry for your loss OKC, just do not talk to anyone on your way home and leave the radio off.

    I salute you.

Some people just don't get it. It's like they've never even seen a Nebraska football schedule in their lives.....

I have a wedding at 2:00 in omaha next saturday- needless to say I will not be present at the reception.
