Nebraska Playbook
Edit: I love most of it, but there is no 2 HB shotgun set which is retarded.

We have worse defensive stats than North Carolina...........EA =
North Carolina might have the best defense in CFB next year. They have 5 (possibly 6) all-america candidates, and will probably have 5 players go in the first 2 rounds of the draft. Not to mention they had a higher ranked defense than us last year
We had the #1 scoring D in CFB, on almost 100 (almost an additional game and a half) more plays (minimum) than any of the other top 25 Defenses.
Carolina may have had a better "yardage" D, but Nebraska's was certainly the best in the land.
Last year, yes, no doubt Nebraska did have the best defense in all of football last year, but isn't the game referencing 2010? I'm not sure, I've never actually owned and NCAA football game. If so I guess it remains to be seen who WILL have the better D, but UNC is absolutely stacked.
I agree. As I re-read it, I misunderstood your statement. I thought you were saying UNC was better LAST year.
-
Honestly, I only care about stupid penalties, not penalty rankings. I don't like plays like Asante's horse collar on Shipley, but there were dozens of bogus penalties last year that should never have been called (especially on SUH).

They are.
Nebraska's home football games against Western Kentucky (Sept. 4), and Idaho (Sept. 11) will be available on a pay-per-view basis. Big 12 Special Order Sports, FOX Sports Net's pay-per-view division will produce the pay-per-view telecasts and the games will be available on participating cable systems in Nebraska as well as nationally on participating satellite and telco systems.
For the first time Nebraska's pay-per-view contests will be available in high-definition. Suggested retail price for the pay-per-view telecasts is $39.95 and full ordering details will be available in the coming weeks.

Love the OSU playbook already dominated it at Heisman level, which one do you think Nebraska will use ? Hope it's the Multiple.
That would be the most logical imho.
They have NU as a "Pro Style" offense. Whatever.

I'm trying to find on of these...
Minus the autograph. I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Prince has played corner since 08. And Glenn was a LB.
?Prince came in as a RB, and Glenn was a RB until his senior year.

The one thing that sucks about the conference expansion, is that you have to swap the team with another one. You can't just expand the conference. It sucks, but for good reason.
So what I did (NCAA 2010), I just swapped Purdue for Nebraska. I did much more than that though. For example Purdue is not the Big 12, they are in the C-USA. OU and OSU are in the north, Houston and TCU are in the south. Colorado is in the MWC, also Boise St. San Diego State is in the WAC. I had to put the Irish in the Big East, seeing how i couldn't think of a way to put them in the Big Ten without losing someone important.
You could just swap the big 12 for the Big 10...

Well, NU got shafted in the team ratings department...
Our O is not an A- (B+ at best) but our D should certainly be better than a B+ (A is fair).

How in the hell did our defense give up that many yards and points to Okie State, eventhough they dont have Robinson and Bryant anymore. Bo and Carl better go back to drawing board, cause that wont work against OU.
That was from two guys playing against each other the first time at E3. Unfortunately, playing good defense is going to be hard in this version if the Demo is any indication. There's definitely going to need to be some slider tweaking..

NU will be ranked #9 in this year's game:
Where did you find that picture at?

Also, the summary screen.

Now that Teambuilder is live, we can preview the rosters. I went through and named the ones they had.

Click "Rosters" on the right. It's not perfect (the OL could use some work, and Niles Paul should be rated a bit better) but it's better than many of the past ones. Now that we have formation subs, we can make the "Peso" work too.
-
The way to beat TTech under Mike Leach was to play offense and keep their offense off the field.
Yup.
And with our WCO "multiple" offense.....well....
It worked out pretty well with a healthy o-line and QB in 2008. We almost won, and our D did little to slow TT down in that game. The "multiple" isn't the problem. Combine the 08 Offense (or even just Ganz) and we are 13-1, or better last year.
-
Pretty much what everyone here has stated. Plus, our Offense sucking bad made short fields for TT, hence the higher score, but low yardage.

I'm guessing he's saying the best team ever assembled with regards to how those players on that team performed in the NFL. This may very well be true, but it doesn't mean they were the best team in college. Heck, CU had one of the best assembled teams I believe in 94' that had several first and second rounders on it but they didn't play that great as a team. It wasn't that long ago that one of our best assembled Olympic basketball teams didn't even win a medal.
That does not make them the best TEAM though. That makes them a team with great individuals. Big difference.
-
I wouldn't believe a single thing emanating from any Rivals site at this point.
-
2001 Miami Hurricane Football Team was the greatest College Football Team Ever assembled. 95 Huskers are 2nd.
Got any facts or stats to back up your statement? Nope. Keeeeeeeeeeeep trolling.
-
Here's a screenshot with a few of our formations...
-
Both teams are considered to be among the best of all time. So my question is, if it had been the 1995 Huskers (rather than the 2001 group) that showed up in the Rose Bowl to play Miami for the national title, which team would you pick and why?
1995 Nebraska. Why? Because they were better.
End of Thread.

Uh, what?
"Under Pelini NU is 6-3 in B12 away games and 2 losses were by 1 pt and the other by 6 pts in OT"
Pretty sure that the loss to OU in 2008 was by more than 1 point.
I stopped watching that game after the first quarter, i was so ashamed. But yes it was more than 1 point and more than 6 in OT.
?While we did get our heads handed to us by OU, the OT loss to TT (31 - 37) was by 6 because their kicker missed the XP.
-
How did you find this lol...hack into his computer?
Oh yea +1
I've been watching the URL pattern for each preview the last few days, and I was pretty sure what NU's would be once they got into the top 19 teams.

Yeah I noticed that one. He ain't perfect (and covering 119 teams nobody will be), but he is pretty much the best.
-
This isn't officially out yet (he has us ranked 5) as our preview date is June 12th. But what the heck, I found it, and my Mom always told me to share.
"Despite a 6-2 reg ssn B12 record, NU was actually -12.3 ypg. Despite those factors they are the most talented team in the Big 12 North and 6 of my 9 sets of power ratings call for a 12-0 regular season."
