  1. roger that on Mass Effect 3. i played ME 1 into the ground and i as meh on ME 2. but ME 3 has pretty much everything i could have wanted out of the series.

i like had a bazillion ME1 saves on my 360, but i didn't have one tailored to the romance story wanted to go with (Tali). so i powered thru ME1, accidentally got romantic with Ashley and then accidentally on purpose killed her with a nuclear bomb. oops. but other than that, my shepard was a complete boy scout. in my spare time, it was a week to beat ME 1.

i played thru ME 2 in another week and started as soon as i finished ME 1. first time around i was meh on it, but on reflection it wasn't that bad. the massive change in mechanics left me cold, but i got used to it. romanced Tali (for want ever that was worth), saved my entire squad by my crew of Cerberus red shirts got turned into reaper spread. i'll probably go replay it again to see if i can save the entire ship crew plus my squad, but that's later.

ME 3? it fukkin delivers. especially the Tali romance and the conclusion of the geth/quarian conflict. this weekend i plowed thru twenty hours of game play and it's been pretty awesome.

only two things kinda ticked me off...

    1. couldn't import my Shepard image (wtf, bioware? how does THAT not get picked up in beat testing)

    2. the final big reveal of what Tali *really* looks like under the hood is a photoshopped stock image from the internets. way to under achieve there, bioware.

other than that, it's been a sweet ride.

  2. to be honest, i would have preferred the game to have been offline, single player like the original KOTOR. that being said, bioware really out did themselves with this game and that's saying something.

they put a LOT of time into building story lines for each of the classes and everything just seams to flow silky smooth.

right now i'm playing as a light side sith, which of course sounds completely counter-intuitive and you'd think that the game play would be lacking. it's not. in fact, it's absolutely amusing how citizens of the sith empire and jedis react to a character that should be evil incarnate but is actually a pretty cool dude.

case in point, SPOILERS one of the missions you run as a sith acolyte you and a group of prospective apprentices are supposed to gather shards from mosaics located in three separate sith tombs. failure is not an option: if you show up without the shards, master basras will kill you.

you get the shards, head back to basras and you're ambushed by one of the acolytes who failed to enter the tombs but figured he'd just kill you and take yours (sith logic, natch). you beat him and are presented with a couple of choices, one of them is giving him your shards and then re-running the tombs again. you gain light side point for that.

later basras finds out that your would-be assassin pussed-out and just accepted the gift from you (real sith either do it or take it, nothing in between). the assassins fate is in your hands. if you say spare him so he can serve the empire further, you get more light points and the assassin is sent to the jails to be trained as a keeper.

final mission as an acolyte, the main villain of the initial arc tries to take you out before you get your light sabre but is foiled by the OTHER acolyte that you helped earlier. ultimately, the acolyte you spared gives his life protecting YOU. /SPOILERS.

that whole scenario unfolded in a way that didn't feel clunky at all. and the farther i play, the more interesting it gets.

  3. The huskers will go 12-1. Beating 8-4 wisky in the ccg. NU finishes 3rd in bcs final standings and gets Washington in the rose bowl. We get 13-0 Alabama vs. 12-1 lsu in the bcs final(yea!!) Rex burkhead gets hurt in fall camp forcing one of the super sophs to step up(my guess: Braylon) Bo pelini rumors float about the open Dallas cowboy job. Carl pelini goes 8-4 in year one and gets the Pitt job( irony anyone) cause that job is a one year deal lately. Unrelated sports predictions Kirk ferentz takes KC job and big game bob takes over at Iowa!

that's some bold sh#t right there. god bless ya buddy!
