Well I'm back with another Wicked Husker wallpaper. I absolutely love the background and the Huskers text on this one! So, following all the excitement of the fake black helmet photo from the NU Equipment guys yesterday, I made a couple wallpapers of my Black lid! There are two slightly different versions of this wall. get em both on my site!

Thank you so much, I always look forward to your feedback. With Suh I was trying to give it a 3D effect, like he's popping out at you and the text and number are his actual jersey. Didn't work as well as I hoped and not having many Suh photos I can use didn't help much. I am going to shrink down those helmets on the Suh one cause you are right, it looks wrong.

Haha, maybe I need to start making Lions ones as well. Maybe some Raiders or Rams ones too, LOL. I figured the lens flares and the twist pattern. Those are similar to a photography technique called camera tossing. Leave the camera on a long exposure in a darkened room pointed at some funky lights and chuck it into the air. There are some great patterns like your backgrounds as a result. p.s. I love Tuts Plus. Its been a great helper tool for me over the years. Chuck it and blend it my friend! Layer blend modes are your best friend, lmao.

The background effects are created by using different apps plus some Photoshop filters like lens flare and twist after painting funky patterns with the paint brush. No tutorial used for those new ones, but if your looking to learn some new techniques, check out http://psd.tutsplus.com/ I do love the Lions and Packers ones as well, maybe my favorite works of all time next to my "Bring Back The Black", glad you like them as well!!! My Lions works are HUGELY popular too, its crazy! Any Lions walls I make easily double the downloads of any other works. Lions fans aren't used to seeing people make wallpapers for that team, lol.

Yeah it does! I love this board for inspirations, Landlord of Memorial Stadium left a great comment on my wallpapers about lack of color and hard to read text, which got in my head and motivated me to learn new tricks. My new style is crazy (can't post the ones I've done so far cause it's the Packers, Lions And Colts of the NFL. click my sig if you want to see them.), soon I will have a Husker one (or two) made to show it off.

Interesting. I guess I never noticed nor have I had issues with Flickr before. Maybe it's because I am a paying user of Flickr. Learning process I guess. That one is full size. If your paying for Flickr, then what I said isn't supposed to be true. You should be allowed to upload images without them being cropped and we as visitors should be able to save your images. You must have your settings blocking downloads (at least of the wallpaper)

That is a really cool wallpaper, but let me give you a little advice. Do NOT use Flickr for any image over 1280x1024. Flickr automatically crops it down for free users. A great site to use for hosting is either photobucket.com or http://kiwi6.com/

So, the blackshirts freebie is no more, at least not for now. I removed that, added video wallpapers for widescreen and standard screen Windows machines and made all videos FREE!!! I may drop this whole idea though and discontinue these videos since they're not real popular and insanely hard for me to make.

Thanks for your comments, I love your honesty my friend! I do agree that some of my work can be flat, I still have a ton to learn. The 3D stuff is super hard to get right and render out and all that, but yeah, some do come out mind- blowingly awesome. As a matter of fact, one of my personal favorites is my "big Red Camero Bumblebee" That thing took 26 hours to render out, and Bumblebee himself was Orange! Oh I was mad! So I had to re-color him in Photoshop. No way I was gonna try and re-render that again.

Thanks a ton! Glad you like it. I tried to do the best I could without it looking too pink. Red is not a fun color to do artwork with sometimes, lol.
