  1. The offense lost this game...

Sure, our offense could have played a better game. However, the difference this time truly came down to the refs’ bad calls. Considering how much money is involved in college sports, it seems perfectly logical to me that the refs were bought off.

    Roll Tide.

  2. but Jason Peter was often too arrogant and too 'holier than thou' when talking on his program.

Exactly. I never listened to that show much (except when other people had it on when I was in the room). However, I never liked his personality on there at all. Yeah, he was on teams that won championships, but it was still just a game.

  3. These guys suck and 3 times is enough for me. Please tell me they won't be doing the championship game. The bagging on Asante is getting old, stupid penalty yes, but he barely hit the guy.

Agreed, we better not get stuck with the forth string announcers for the Big12 Championship game.

  4. Yeah, I've lived in Lincoln all my life and I got my BA from UNL (I also did some grad studies classes there for a while too). I can't think of anyone around here brave enough to admit to liking the Sooners though. <_<

Unfortunately there have always been some punks that like the Kitties though. However, they have been pretty quiet the last four years.

  5. To call Bill Snyder a hack shows one to have little insight into the game and makes me just skip their posts from here on out, less we forget the last team to win the Big 12 out of the North is his K-State team.

I think that just says more about how much the Big 12 North sucks in comparison to the Big 12 South. We're like the Big 10 and they are like the SEC. :bang

  6. Pelini is definitely not the best coach in the Big 12. I wish that was the case, but it sure as hell isn't. Great coaches do not lose at home 7-9 to crappy teams like Iowa State. That loss really reminded me of Bill Callahan's at home loss to Southern Miss in 2004.
