I wonder how much those refs got paid...

No official "screwed" this team. Nebraska should never be in the position where an officials call in the fourth quarter decides the outcome of a game.

In closely matched games, bad calls from biased refs can decide who wins and who loses. It happens frequently in the NFL too. If not for that bad call, we very likely would have came back and won. However, the ACC sucks, and they used their refs to give their sh#t conference a win.

 

Look at my name again. I don't see Nebraska fan in there anywhere. I was routing for Nebraska on this game, but I'm starting to wonder why.

yeah, but if your big 12 brothers don't take care of business out of conference, it isn't as helpful for the one you do care about.

Meh, Utah, Boise State and Hawaii have all made it to BCS games without even being in "BCS conferences." BYU might even be in the championship game if everything works out for them.

I can not believe how many people are blaming this loss on the refs... what a bunch of sore looser cry babies.

 

Let me break this down for you people the best I can. First, 93 wasn't blocked into anyone, he dived in COMPLETELY on his own. Second, his low dive landed him head first on the QB close to two yards out of bounds. Now if that is where you land, doesn't it make since that his trajectory is what landed him there. And he lead with his head on a QB, the most protected position in football! It was a bone headed play and there is no one to blame but the player for making that hit when the other player was obviously down and out of bounds.

 

One more note... the Huskers getting back on the national stage is not a birth right and history does not make you deserving. Earn it back if you want an stop your crying!!!!!!! Otherwise prepare yourselves for another dismal 3 years!!!!

If you want to cheer lead for the ACC refs' biased calls that is fine with me. Just do not call yourself a Nebraska fan though.

Everyone needs to put the kool aid down and call a spade a spade...

which you got, along with his stupidity! This is the same coach that berated an opposing coach after a game for "running it up" because his D couldn't stop them...

 

This is the same coach that has had numerous flags thrown on him for berating officials...ask Stoops and Les Miles...

 

You hire a D coordinator, expect two things to happen....

 

1 - The offense will struggle, maybe lack of prep time or attention to detail, not sure just know it happens (ie Auburn)

 

2 - The bonehead will come out in him when his D struggles....

 

Whether or not the Suh hit was a penalty is debatable, as for me, I say let em play, but the fact our HC was penalized at that point in the game shows a total lack of restraint on his behalf...

 

For all the Bo backers, chalk this up on games he directly cost us.....

Now the "fans" (they sound like ACC fans) at "Huskerpedia" are making excuses for the refs and bashing Pelini. That is even more sickening than the BS calls.

Well that was just f'ing BS. The ACC still sucks, they only won by cheating. f'ers.

f'ing ACC refs. Those f'ing inbred Suth'n'uhz will do anything to win. They all should have been hung after the Civil War. f#*k them.

No, he will thankfully not be fired and he will not resign. We should not follow the path of Alabama and we do not have the money to hire a Nick Saban. Callahan, who can recruit out of state players due to the WCO, is the best coach we can have currently.

Anyone who thinks that Frank Solich or Turner Gill would be better than Callahan is insane. We'd be 2-4 now, or worse, with either of them as HC.

Keep him until, at least, the end of the season. The D might improve a lot before then, there are still 8 games left and we're 3-1 now.

Thank god we're not Ohio.

I was reading the messages over at the "Huskerpedia" board (I refused to actually pay that site just to tell them off, so I registered here to rant about it). Anyway, there are a ton of clowns at the "Huskerpedia" board who are bashing the whole team, wanting to fire Callahan, etc. That is BS. These were a lot of the SAME PEOPLE who were so excited and amazed with Frank Solich today, even though he got beat 7-28 vs. Virginia Tech. Those type of people are NOT Nebraska fans! I wonder if any of them ever actually attended UNL?

Personally, I was very proud of our offense for coming back and scoring 21 points in the 4th quarter against the number one team in the country. I think Keller redeemed himself after throwing those two INTs earlier in the 3rd quarter.

I think people who love Frank Solich and always bash Callahan are not real Nebraska fans and are completely classless. Personally, I support our team, win or lose, and always wish for the best for MY SCHOOL. I never bashed Solich before he got fired either, BTW. I support Callahan and the team, I'm glad that we are able to pass 388 yards against USC. I think there is a lot that our guys can still accomplish this season and I am excited for them.
