    Should have played Ganz earlier

    Ganz really impressed me. After the 1st score in the 2nd half, the offense went cold. I think after one or two series of Keller struggling, they should have put Ganz in. He could have picked up a lot of yards by scrambling whereas Keller just stood there and fumbled. Oh well.

    play for next year................. this year is shot, f#*k yes he should have played..................but at least there was some fire .......................

    I have had it up to my friggin' eyeballs with everyone crying, complaining and all of the crap thrown around... Yes, NU is in dire straights.....unlike anything we have seen since 1961..... but I have been a die-hard, season-ticket holder for years and years..... I also coach football and understand young men.......

     

    Yes, BC will probably go after the season.....Yes, Pud needed to go.....Yes, we are probably not going to go to a bowl game, unless we "upset" 2 of the last 3......

     

    but, I am getting sick of some of the crap that I am reading in the papers and on this board.... Did anyone read the quotes from Mo and Bowman saying that they would rather play on the road ???!!!! saying that so-called fans yell crap from behind the bench or outside the stadium, such as "you guys don't deserve to have an N on your helmet......that is bullsh!t........ Anyone that would say that crap should be punched in the friggin mouth.... and I am sure that a$$holes like that sure sing the fight song..."all stick together in all kinds of weather"....whenever we win.....makes me puke.....

     

    If I am a recruit, I tell the fans to kiss my a$$, I don't need to hear that bullsh!t if I don't play well.....

    I'll bet that most of the people who piss and moan couldn't even go out and play a competitive game of flag football, yet, they will yell crap like that to 18-21 boys who decided to come play for the "best fans in the country"....chicken sh!t....big time....

     

    I am extrememly frustrated with the season, and the heart-wrenching loss to Texas today...but, this is when we will see who actually are the "best fans" in America..... or who just likes to get on their PC's and "vote" during polls on ESPN.....

     

    Show up, support NU, and if not, shut the F#C& UP !!!

    I am probably going to get evicerated for this...

     

    If there was a loss that was more telling that this team needs sweeping changes, this was it. Yes the players played with heart, but to me that raises a few questions instead of answering them.

     

    If they have pride, where in the world was it the first three weeks in October? Hell, where has it been all year excepting the UNR game? All this game showed me is that the coaches do not have the ability to motivate this team week in and week out. Granted, a many people say that the players need to motivate themselves, which I agree with, but when you do not hit in pads when you are a 21 year old young adult, it is simply too hard for these guys. Once again...THESE AREN'T PROS!

     

    Of course once again, Callahan tried to throw a fire blanket on a game where he had a lead wayyyy to early, and the other team came back and won. 200 yards rushing in one quarter is too embarassing for words.

     

    And now for the eviceration...

     

    For all the fans who are calling out other fans for being sh**ty fans. Stop. Now. I have no doubt that every fan supports this team, wears its gear, and desperately wanted to beat UT for the first time in 8 years. But you as a fan are allowed to boo, heckle (cleanly), and speak up when something is clearly wrong. I for one think the "best fans in college football" is a reach. Here is a more accurate description.

     

    "The smartest fans in college football"

     

    We know when something is broken. We know when changes to be made. And we know we have a right to be pissed when we know that these players and coaches are given EVERY creature comfort in the way of nutrition, conditioning, and support and they don't even have the goddamn courtesy to show up and play every week. Instead, we are told to feel good that they decided to put forth 110% one week in October when the season is totally over.

     

    I'm sick of it.

     

    This wasn't the Nebraska I was a part of.

     

    Make the change.

    Been to every game this year and I hate how this misconception has grown legs...........if this throng of people was behind the bench telling the players they suck and take the N off your helmets they would be thrown out so fast.........................85+ thousand people and they are generalized by a few......anyone that has been to Lincoln would know this they have the best in stadium security..........plus the fact that I prefer to stand the whole game I am always walking by the bench and trying to give what small support I can offer

    Matt Slauson is great always willing to talk...........took picturtes with me and my five year old.........I think to a degree the pressure is at an all time high.....and the few a$$hole$ that do make these comments .....it stings alot more because thingsa are so bad right now.............if I saw some a-hole given these players a hard time.......I woulld definitely put the foot in deep.........and besides all the staff would have to do is give the nod and whoever it was would be thrown out on their ass.

    I guess I just dont enjoy getting kicked in the nutz anymore. I'm going fishing for trout on Saturday. I cant bear to watch.

     

    totally empathize with you, but still wear your red and be proud......... most programs.......would be proud to just have half the tradition NU has. KEEPyour head up and wear your red.......hell I work with a guy who is a die hard cyclone and I respect him EVERY day he has his cyclone hat/shirt on.......if he can suck it up for a lame ass school like Iowa State..........you can hang in there for a stellar, ass kicking, future power house like Nebraska.

    Did the cougs hire Bronco Mendenhall. I used to work at Uof U medical center in the ER. I loved it there.

    I used to get alot of crap on Saturday wearing my Blackshirt scrubs......those have since been retired for obvious reasons.

     

    I was actually back there when Edwards was still at BYU and we had some coach named Ron McBride -- you might have heard of him...probably not... :)

    OH ya I remember Mcbride...........nice guy.......okay coach.
