Did anyone catch how much Suh's throwback jersey sold for and who bought it? I'm sure it would sell for way more now than it did this fall.

Lets start wagers on when this post gets squashed by a mod.....

...it will be fun.

..."Go Nebraska, Go Cornhuskers".

BINGO!!!
Not much talent at WR, #1 RB is playin' hurt, backup RB's are inexperienced, #5 can't (won't) run so the wishy washy RB's are keyed more aggressively for the running game, #17's first start wasn't the greatest, but he has the freshman's first start excuse, #44 is blanketed, the o-line plays paddy cake.
This isn't a play calling issue, it's a talent issue. The Offense has been the backbone for the past few years under Wats (and Cally). We'll be there once both sides of the ball are clicking during the same year.

Some pundits article isn't going to be a declaration that Nebraska is back. When Nebraska wins against OU and shows a good game in the Big XII title game (or wins it), then Nebraska is back. This recent win over Missouri was great, but it isn't the "Nebraska is back" game.

He's already being written off for end of season awards.....just keep it rollin' "Mr. Suh"! Notice the strikeout through his name!

Skydiver, field in good shape after Larry concert
By JEFF KORBELIK / Lincoln Journal Star
Tuesday, Jul 07, 2009 - 09:23:43 am CDT
The skydiver is OK, and so is Tom Osborne Field at Memorial Stadium.
Saturday’s Larry the Cable Guy concert went “very well,” said Butch Hug, UNL’s assistant athletic director of events.
“The grounds crew was really surprised,” he said. “They were apprehensive about what would happen, but when they took the floor off, (the grass) bounced right back.”
It was the first major event at the stadium outside of a college or high school football game since Farm Aid III in September 1987.
The sold-out concert drew 50,275 paid spectators, according to Outback Concerts, which staged the event with Parallel Entertainment.
The only mishap occurred when professional skydiver Dan O’Brien from Sacramento, Calif., missed his target because of rainy and windy conditions and landed in the stands prior to Larry taking the stage.
O’Brien spent the night in a Lincoln hospital and was released Sunday, Hug said. He suffered a facial cut and injured his finger, “but nothing was seriously broken,” Hug said.
Outback Concerts and Parallel Entertainment also were pleased with how well Saturday’s event went.
“It was perfect,” Outback president Mike Smardak said. “It was a phenomenal experience. Butch Hug and his building crew were the greatest. It enabled us to give the people of Lincoln a phenomenal Fourth of July.”
Larry’s concert went so well, Hug said, he wouldn’t mind doing another event like it again.
“From my standpoint, I would do it no question,” he said. “But it’s not my call.”
Athletic Director Tom Osborne said when Larry the Cable Guy, aka Dan Whitney, announced the concert, it was a “one time deal” as a thank you to Nebraska athletic fans.

That's the wussy version of the Fumblerooski...they didn't even drop it on the ground. Steinkuhler and Shields had to pick it up off the ground, not have it handed to them between legs...don't they do it that way because the Nebraska version was banned or something?

Maybe the Nebraska prediction is off the wall, but LSU in the title game seems even more crazy. Pelini had a great first year and he looks even better after seeing LSU's defense collapse in '08.

I think that one was only a 5.7 yarder....
Yes, 5.7 AND it flew over the cross bar at about the same height as Henery's.

tomorrow on ESPNclassic, they're showing the 1984 and 1994 orange bowls back to back. does espn enjoy showing our hearts get broken, or should we be flattered that beating nebraska is alot of other teams proudest moments?

I don't know about others on here, but I am completley sick of the posters on the board that feel the need to interject their disdain towards ESPN. Weather there is bias or not isn't really the point. It's the fact that these people feel the need to have every word speewed from a sports pundit to be in favor or commending Nebraska. Get a life!! I suppose some of the pundits browse through these types of fan sites and when they read the likes of the whining and crying, they love it!! Quit waisting bandwidth on the whining drivel or get a new thread on this board for ESPN haters and get on with real gossip like weather Bill Snyder is actually a walking corpse or something.

Another team and they don't even show this call.
"Oh Nebraska won... let's taint it and show everybody how lucky they were... we can't have them do anything on merit."
And it is pretty bad when they do it, and everyone that was from Clemson on this board never even mentioned it.
Usually if it's a close or questionable reversal you'd hear the negatives from the other side (Clemson). I haven't heard or seen a peep from them which helps cement the reversal as a great call.

How much did BC get for being in it? F-ing A$$hole....he was about nothing but the dollar...
The University rec'd $10,000 plus invaluable screen time to millions of people in the US and eventually around the world.
BC didn't get jack except having him immortalized on the big screen in one of the worst loses in Memorial Stadium.

I haven't seen it yet, probably won't until the DVD comes out. If you've seen the movie please review the part(s) of the movie with the Nebraska football scenes.
