Frost is leaving for Nebraska, unsure if an announcement comes Saturday or Sunday.
Danny White is doing behind the scenes work for UCF's next head football coach. Kevin Sumlin is at the top of the list and they're using a search firm.
Chinander is extremely likely to follow Frost to Lincoln.
Press conference for UCF's next coach next week.

Unless your aunt was transgender and identified as female.
But hey, let's get back to making broad generalizations about programs instead of making intelligent, nuanced discussion points about the topic. UCF has a legitimate shot at a P5 conference, but only when Oklahoma and (Texass/Kansas) bolt the Big XII for the B1G after the GOR expires.
Would the B12 still be a power 5 conference at that point? Might be power 4.

Yeah, this is the downside of hands off moderation. It's a bit hard to find everything. He's not N yet, but all signs are promising.
HEEEY what are you doing here?!

Today's news sure brings some added stress to all of us watching "As the Coaching Chair Turns." Tennessee has been exposed as the character that nobody knows as of yet if he is the crazy villain or the righteous hero.
The guy with the mullet from Stillwater is being courted to leave for Tennessee, which will pour a dump truck load of money down to save face. Too bad a certain booster in Stillwater has more money than ten tandem-axles filled with gold. But do those two truly get along now?
Texas A&M is looking for a new coach and some say that the guy from FSU is tired of his old house and without enough money for his choice of staff. However, he will only say he is focusing on the ever important matchup with University of Louisiana Monroe. If that is not a non answer that says "I am out of here."
Will the up and comer from Iowa State move to Tallahassee?
We all sit and wait, hoping this will not impact our chosen son...and honestly, I think it all goes to further the narrative that this is the place and time for him to come home.

I'm most of the way through the 1st segment of Sharpe and Benning and haven't heard anything disparaging about the Huskers or Frost. They've been mocking the rumors and the media.
"I'm about to leave. It's not funny. This whole thing has made Nebraska football about something so singular. This whole thing has just gotten.... it was my greatest fear."
"Who's the first person put off by Frost's behavior?

What is he saying now?
I’ve gotten that feeling a few weeks ago that Benning isn’t on the Frost bandwagon
He tried being a coach too, and failed. He jelly

God I cannot stand listening to Benning about Frost. Such a negative viewpoint on him already.
I hate it, too. I stopped listening to him because of that crap.
What segment was it? I wanna listen!

I feel like the Malzhan payout is low. I would think less than 25% chance he leaves Auburn this season, especially if they win Saturday.
For Frost, you have to bet $250 to win $100.
Seems like easy money. Is he allowed to place the bet?

Now they're going after Jon Gruden! 10M a year?? Wow. I would think that would bankrupt the entire school!
That was before their meltdown.
It was also a big part of the meltdown.
They are us if Frost backs out and we find out we're getting Barney Cotton.

Thank you for posting this. I hope one of the 1620 folks call Scott and tell him it was made up.
I'm sure his parents could do that.

Sure was!!! And you have zero clue he hasn’t or he wouldn’t. I have been wanting frost at NU for years and will feel better once his signature is onnpaper
I'm sure Moos and Frost will take that into consideration.

Let's be fair, the loudest part of one message in the middle of a coach being hired away is not a great reflection of an entire fanbase.
If people judged Nebraska fans from the ones on the UCF board, what would they think?
That our children should be eaten by gators.
Note: they actually said that.
edit: I do agree with your point. You can't judge a fan base by a few people. Exactly the same thing applies to us.

Yes, this. Horrible fans. They turned on Frost immediately.
UCF>Frost
They'll be great and Nebraska will still suck.
I mean, they haven't been watching football very long. They are children.

If Matt is really gone? Don't see him on staff. Don't you need to have some type of coaching degree or certification? Plus, sorry, Matt is not Keith Williams, or any other great WR coach.
I have said a few times that Matt may have cost himself a job with some of his comments at the end of games. I agreed with everything he said, and he was 1000000% spot on. It is just something that you probably can't say if you are employed be the University. His comment at the end of the Iowa game, saying "I can't watch this CRAP anymore"....he quickly apologized and backpedaled. Just stuff you want to say, but can't in his position.
If he is really good friends with SF he might have already known he wouldn't need the radio job. He might fit somewhere behind the scenes. One of those analysts or something?
He also might not want to have to call games when his buddy is the coach.
Who knows, but I agree with what you're saying.

I live in SoCal, but at 4200 foot. We get all 4 seasons, but normally the temp is around 65 even after a major storm. 2 foot of snow is gone in 3 or 4 days. I could never live in Phoenix, just too darned hot in the summer. Nebraska when I lived there was cold and windy, not much snow. Old cars did not like to start. I am thinking the new automobiles make living there easier. I have Pine and Oak trees on my property, and drive 20 minutes to snow, 30 minutes to Palm Springs, or two hours to the ocean. No gang activity up here, but we now have many growers for the SoCal weed market. Not fun to have around.
Remote start, baby

I mean... obviously they wouldn't be doing that if he had signed the extension with the supposed deadline. Not to mention they would be splashing that news all over the place.
