I like an 8 team playoff. Keeps the regular season still worth something and keeps the season short. Some teams would inevitably still get f'd over, but that's life.

It seems like we get upset with Niles Paul and Cody Green because they consistently under perform. However, there wasn't a big uproar when Kunalic kicked it out of bounds last year, or when Asante pulled that horse collar tackle. Sure they received some negative recognition and maybe they would have received more if there wasn't the whole :01 thing, but I didn't hear any facebook horror stories.

Recently, Nebraska fans has been under a lot of scrutiny. We have been called whiny fans. We have been given a hard time for getting upset about Niles Paul and his many let downs. We've been accused of having douchey fans. I think all fan bases have these moments:

I know our fans would be upset if Henry missed 2 game winning fg's in a single game. I'd hate to see what they would do to a below average kicker who missed two winning field goals.

Anyone else also question the need for rule 6 and 7. Pretty much seems like there is no way past rule 5. The only thing would be if they didn't play a head-to-head, which always happens.

Zac Lee seemed to do a better job at executing the Zone read. It's hard to say. It's not like are offense has been amazing ever since the Mizzou game, at which point we haven't had Lee or Taylor.

Cody Green is aweful. I hate to say it, but he hasn't done a single thing for this offense, ever.

Um, getting your ass ripped is part of football. I remember back in highschool getting my ass chewed out a time or two at practice and even during a game. Usually my coach would come up to me afterward and say something along the lines of "You're improved tremendously. Sorry I came down on you so hard"...etc. Sometimes getting your ass chewed is the best way to fix a problem. However this will only work if there is a mutual respect.

I respected my coach. I hope that Martinez does the same.

Realistically, we could have went 12-0 regular season, and probably even 13-0 into the bowl. Our two losses come on poor offensives performances. That's something that our coaches need to fix the next seasons.

At the same time, it's hard to be upset with a 9-2, soon to be 10-2 season. We're still not a dominant football team by any standards, but we are improving.

Sadly, I think there is something terribly wrong with our offense. It hasn't been the good part of our team since the Callahan era, and back then, we had a terrible defense and the team as a whole just didn't feel like Nebraska. So hopefully our goal next year is to improve our offense.

Wish I was going........I'll be at home instead watching it on the tube.

He's right. This is NCAA College football. There are rules, and there are traditions. BIG XII officials will ref the game. Honestly, we don't deserve to win if our Offense can't score a single TD. Our defense held them to 9 points (6 if you include the BS call). We put up a single TD against a defense that isn't great, and we win this football game.

We can't rely on one player to get the job done for us. Also, we had a lot of stupid penalties. Bo needs to realize that you can't just bitch at the refs all game. Ask for an explanation, and walk away. Yeah, I love the passion, but a coach should never give the refs reason to flag them.

Honestly, we need a better scheme. The zone read isn't working. We have good athletes. Give them opportunity to score TD's and win the game.

My question is if we win out the regular season, and then lose the CCG, what chances do we have of getting an at large bid?
