TBH, the defense has looked like garbage because of what Wisky is trying to get away with (pic/rub plays, chop blocks galore). Kinda worried we're gonna lose someone on the DL because of Wisky's cheap crap right now.
That's true. Some life appears to have been breathed in our defense. Offense moving the ball again. Maybe we all need to just chill out a bit.

And we still can't capitalize because our offense is a joke right now.
Honestly, up until that INT, they were looking pretty solid. Now we've had some drops that have been killers. I'm ussually the first one to bag on this O, but outside the major bonehead mistakes, they have looked decent against what is supposed to be a pretty salty Wiscy D.
Defense, on the other hand, is playing like s#!t, however have been saved by the sheer amount of penalties against Wisconsin.
Still a lot of football left. No more huge mistakes. We spotted them 7.

Damn. Wisconsin not getting away with anything tonight.

Nice throw into double coverage...

All the blackshirts must be in the stands, because they appear to be missing on the field...

You can't defend that pass. This isn't dodge ball. It's not Ozigbo's fault just because it touches him last.
It's a swing pass. You have to lead the back. You can't throw it behind him, at his back. No ones body turns that way to make that catch.
Regardless, bounce back from that. Offense is doing pretty well moving the ball.

What's weather supposed to be there tonight? Sorry if I haven't noticed or heard. Busy day for me today.
Lower 70s to mid 60s. No rain. Clear skies. 5-10mph wind.

...small price to pay for the rest of the nation loving the Clones today though.
How can you ever hate the Cyclones? They're probably historically one of the programs that manages to create the most chaos on college football. How many times have they upset us?

ISU knocking off the Sooners with their 3rd string QB.

Illinois who we beat last week, 28-6, is tied with Iowa 10-10. The same Iowa team who nearly pulled off the upset against Penn St.
They have a different QB in and he's made some plays. Iowa also s#!tting the bed.

Quick backstory. Got in an argument with an Iowa fan who says Nebraska just needs to get over the fact that we'll never be as good as we were in the 90s.
The AP poll originated in 1936. There have been 1130 weeks of rankings.
Nebraska ranks 7th most times appeared as #1 in the AP poll, or 6% of the time. Ranks 1-6 have all been rank 1 at least once in the last 5 years. Nebraska hasn't had the pleasure since 2000.
This is a telling statistic of our despair.

What would this guy look like at NU? Seems like it 'could' be good. Although, that could just be my enjoyment of his nature blinding my analysis.
His name was thrown around a lot when Bo got fired, but most people looked at him as Bo 2.0, especially with the whole TTech incident.
Leach is awesome because he has no filter. He's also a pretty damn good football coach. But as a person, he's a piece of s#!t.

If we're not hiring Frost, we shouldn't be firing Riley, in my opinion.

To make it sound like Lincoln Riley was a totally unknown quantity is a bit disingenuous.
I agree, which is why I never did that...

Well, he's currently 9-7 as a head coach. His résumé, at least to me, doesn't really scream P5 yet. Maybe lower tier P5.
A strong finish to the 2017 season will do wonders for him. He'll be highly sought after if UCF goes undefeated or wins the conference and goes to a major bowl.
So your only basis for him being a head coach is W/L? We should have jumped in hiring KF from Iowa after the 2015 season.
Also 9-7 is a better record than what Mike Riley had and we hired him. Also compare his Resume to the names listed above and then tell me how he isn't P5 ready, yet all those guys are. Also, how is 32 year old Lincoln Riley, the head coach of #3 OU, ready for P5 but Frost isn't.
Also how was Tom Osborne ever ready to coach the number 1 team in the country, yet he had zero head coaching experience? Pick any of the top guys who have coached in the last 20 years and when you look at their first P5 head coaching gig, let me know how someone thought they were ready, yet they wouldn't have passed your sniff test.
I don't think you're ready to judge whether a coach is ready to coach P5 football...
Edit:
Since your a numbers guy, I put together some for you
Scott Frost coach at UNI for 2 years. Their record while he was there: 24-4. Next 2 years they go 14-9
Scott Frost coached at Oregon for 7 years. Their record while he was there: 79-15. Next year they go 4-8
UNI was 7-4 the year before Frost showed up.
At the very least, he seems to have a knack for being part of successful programs. If Scott Frost refused to coach at Nebraska, that could be a bad sign.
