I really don't harbor ill will towards any of them. None of them came here to fail and MR is the nicest of the last three, Bill was a pretty nice guy off the field and supported the arts etc. Bo was deffo rougher around the collar but seemed ot be a dedicated husband and father.

I think Leach would have the same success here that Pelini had. I think he would reach the 8-10 win plateau, but would struggle to win “the games that matter”.
Came here to say exactly this. Only people might put up with him longer since his public persona is much more agreeable. And he'd threaten to cannonball Memorial from his Pirateship at Capital Beach.

Looked everywhere and can't find the place to update. I've seen other posts about it being disabled. I followed those instructions and I cant turn them on!

If you want results, link the contract to performance metrics.
Sure. Then we can be the next SMU.

Franklin sees a spineless coward of a coach in Riley and so he wants to stick it to him. That is what NICE gets you...I hope people who want Nice on the sideline are happy...if I saw Riley chewing gum, I would run the score up and rip him a new one so he understands that football is a man’s game and a sissy ice cream eating man’s game.
Get a grip.

We suck as fans way more than our football team does
Compared to most CFB fans, we are tame.

There is no reason to let MR finish the season. This is humiliating. It like watching your girlfriend with another guy at the dance all night, but you still give her a ride home.
Let them stand on the sidelines and look those kids in the eye and tell them how they've let them down.

Any starters that are underclassmen actually look like they want to be out on the field today. They better realize that the new coaching staff will be looking at old game tape for next year.
Maybe they will make those judgments once they are here. How a kid plays when they know the season is lost and their coach is out might not be the best metric. Thanks for posting!

Hmm... Ballsy move for a new poster. Got deetz?
The rumor was flying around LNK in the months leading to his firing, I wrote it off as the Athletic Dept spreading trash to help justify firing Frank. Years later a cable installers website offered some details, evidently, the affair was true among other things.

If you think our fanbase is overboard and just plain silly at times, you haven't seen or been watching the Volunteers crowd. I don't buy into anything they put out until they have a presser.
I chuckle when people spout "Who would come here?!?!?! Our fans are so over the top?!?! ZMG U Guise!?!?!?"

Post 90's I have never had trouble picking up tickets from scalpers on gamedays in Lincoln outside Memorial Stadium...and never paid more than 100.
Sell out and attendance are entirely different things.

Yet inability to act when your house is on fire in my opinion makes you a fool. You do Something!!! You say Riley will not be back.
What! Gaaa, I hope we do that, fire the guy and announce Frost! Wooo yeah, that would ruin his season and cause many people to lose respect for him. Only the mentally challenged think HCMR will e retained for another year. Coaching changes happen when the season is over.

They won't. We have two weeks until he's gone, just deal with it.

ShortSideOption, a person connected to the program, stated that coaches are already calling colleagues to figure out what they will be doing in 2018. They are looking elsewhere already anyways.
Cna someone lock this s#!t show of a thread?
-
Why? It serves nothing. HCMR gets paid no matter what, maybe we should make him stand there and face what his program has become. Pretty sure the anyone that pays attention to college ball knows this job is open.

Click bait title. Well done. A comma or something would help the rest of us understand what you are trying to say.
You really should have made it; "The five ways HCMR stays, number four will blow your mind!"

legitimately take to get us turned around
Years. So much has changed since Solich. Less local talent, fewer kids actually playing ball, talent pooling into the Southern states etc. Our greatest hope is Saben keeps coaching and drives kids out of the SEC

Who hasn't smoked NU. Act like you have won a game a game before. You coach a s#!tty gopher team that is less s#!tty than Nebraska. Congrats.
It's Minn.... They haven't won crap in 60 years...
-
Don't fire any of them. tell them if they quit it's for cause and they don't get anything. Make them stand there and live with what they've done.
