Ya I hear you on that but spartness if he is our new HC he could hire somebody better at DC and plus he'll have better players here than he did at Navy. Nebraska is a better football program than Navy and they get way better recruits than Navy.

Again on 1620 they just said that TO will be out on Thursday and Friday for recruiting and if we don't find out tomorrow who the new coach is, we might find out on Saturday, Sunday, or even Monday with Paul Johnson might be getting interviewed. I just said that like over an hour ago.

Like i've been saying Paul is THE MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!! And he's coaching at NAVY!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad that TO is going to interview this guy because after the Navy vs Notre Dame game I've been hooked on this guy for weeks now. He is a great coach and that was the first time I actually watched a Navy game.

Umm actually I did apply for a job which was South Sioux City Police Department and I did pass thank you and I made #3 on the list out of 16 people. And I don't even want to be a cop because there's so much politics bullsh#t involved and who you know and who you blow type of bullsh#t. Anyways cops hours are all messed up and i would rather work mon-friday with weekends off so i can get season tickets to Husker football games. I would be very surprise if TO passed up on this guy. http://thebiglead.com/?p=3757 Now somewhere I found at a webpage with a reporter asking Paul Johnson if he was going to get interviewed with Nebraska and his comment was "No Comment." I think Paul has been contacted and will be interviewed by TO come this weekend or monday.

I don't know but it would be interesting to see what he would put out for a product. He would just have to come here and to see what our Athletes would provide him in his right type of offense. I really do like Paul Johnson as our head coach.

Still listening to 1620 Unsportsmanlike Conduct and Kevin (I believe it was Kevin) said that TO will be focusing on recruiting this week as well as finding a new coach. I wonder when TO will have another inteviews with the 2-3 other coaches. I figured that it would be today since they left Lincoln yesterday for interviews and had Bo's interview on Sunday. I can actually see TO announcing the new HC next week probably on Sunday or Monday after the big championship games this weekend if the new HC isn't Turner Gill. TO is a man of his word and he said that he hasn't offered the job to anybody and that the interview process isn't over. He said that the new HC will be announced sooner rather than later and I think a week to find a new coach is pretty quick in IMO. GO BIG RED!!!!

Where are you getting this at....I highly doubt that this is true because Tom is a man of his word and last night he told the reporters that the interview process isn't done.

Damn its 4:20 and there is no news and 1620 hasn't even mention anything about this meeting yet. Ugh this really sucks.....it's like all of Husker Nation is sitting in the dark on this whole coaching thing.

I also like Grobe a lot, but don't know if the financial numbers make sense. Ya you're right on that. I totally forgot about this guy until i was at work today when i was at the espn ncaa webpage. Mark Richt is a great coach and would be a great hire among Jim Grobe and Paul Johnson.

It was Kevin who said in 4 years Grobe would win a NC and it was very tongue in cheek, as in he was joking. It's also not Matt, it's Mike'l. Ya he was probably joking but he was serious about Jim Grobe coming to Nebraska as our head coach is what I got out of it. And sorry about calling him Matt instead of Mike.....I'm from Sioux City and I only hear their stuff on the internet and i'm a noob when comes to listening to Omaha husker radio shows.

And Kevin said that he wouldn't be surprised to hear Mark Richt name announced sometime today for an interview with Nebraska. But Kevin or Matt one of the two are really really highly for hiring Jim Grobe as Head Coach and Kevin/Matt said that in four years, Jim Grobe will lead us to the NC game. Any thoughts on this? I really do agree with him on this subject about Jim Grobe who is #2 on my list for a head coach. What do you all think about Jim Grobe. Well it appears that you cannot handle a debate very well with the name calling you are starting. You are saying that Kelly perhaps got lucky like Weis did? Hmmm very interesting considering Weis has ZERO HC experience at the collegiate level compaired to Kelly. Ok so what name are you going to call us now? Listen, we all have witnessed your obvious MANCRUSH for Bo and I say to that, to each his own, but to sit here and try and insult us about Kelly's coaching FACTS is just plain NUTS. Man crush uh....wow....I don't think that you've been reading on these boards lately but i've been really rooting for Paul Johnson from Navy for the past 3-4 days. I've been rooting for Paul ever since day one but now I've grown on the guy because he has brought a crappy team like Navy to a rising star. And I never insulted anybody about people who like Kelly. I just said that he needed ANOTHER year at Cincinnati to prove to everybody that he is for real. So I don't know where you're getting your INSULTING FACT FROM???? And enough with the gay talk too.

Ok yesterday TO and Perlman took a private plane to Baton Rouge and then to Atlanta.....isn't Atlanta in Georgia......and isn't the Head Coach for Georgia Mike Richt? Now Mike Richt was born in Omaha, Nebraska and he's done an excellent job at Georgia and Georgia has been in the NC title hunt for years now. I wouldn't be surprised if Mike is maybe one of the two or three left to get interviewed. I know that the firm is in Atlanta but there was a lot of talk about this guy in the past but I think i remember somebody bringing up that he got a contract extention at Georgia? Am I right on this part.....I hope that i'm wrong.
