This is a head scratcher. If you want to play DB, you come to Nebraska. I always liked him as a WR anyway and could be very productive here. Strange choice.
Haha...I usually agree.
But this year OSU has two of the best DBs in the BIG12 in Justin Gilbert and Brodrick Brown. They are both lockdown corners.
Maybe their coaches were able to sell him on this plus playing in the BIG12.

I keep hearing that Banderas is gonna pick up another star to be a 5star, has anyone else heard this?
No

Announced he will set official visits to LSU, Notre Dame and Nebraska.

Awesome news!!!!!
Welcome, Marcus!

he is ours

Nothing too new...
Top 2 of Nebraska and A & M.
Next tier of Arkansas and TCU.
No plans to announce anytime soon.

Some news that may impact our ability to land Newby...
DJ Maritn, Cal's only RB commit, has decided to open up his recruitment. It sorta sounds like Cal was the one who initiated the separation.
-
Plans to announce his decision on July 17 at the Elite 11 quarterback camp between Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Kansas State, Oregon State and Nebraska.

Not sure if this has any truth to it at all....but a member on the Rivals mainboard stated that JS is going to be "N".
When asked for his source, he said that his son was a WR on the team.
Stated that JS was a winner...not sure if he's a QB at the next level (but would make a hellva safety).
Again, not sure if there is any truth to this....just passing it along.

His coach flat out said that no one is ahead of Nebraska for Stanton.
Coach Welch had an opportunity to speak at a NU coaching clinic under Osborne.
He gives Nebraska his full endorsement...always good to have the coach on your side!

Coming this Tuesday and Wednesday.

How many LBs showed up?josh is a real talent with a lot of potenial... i am glad he is making the huskers proud and repping us to the max out there....
I think he accomplished that...
Ranked the #4 LB at the Challenge today.
There are 14 total LBs on the Challenge roster.

Favors USC and Washington....
Final Top 6 of USC, Washington, Oregon State, Arizona, Cal and Nevada.
Staying on the West Coast.

Joel Lanning was officially offered on Saturday, after he worked out for the coaches earlier that morning. Not sure if it was at QB or as an athlete.
-
4.42 speed in the 40. Fast for a safety....blistering for a LB. Whatever position he ends up at I think we have a winner. Left to right....Dan Samuelson, not sure on "17", Greg Hart, A J Natter, Nathan Gerry, Josh Banderas.
Hmmmm.....I might be wrong, but I think "17" is Banderas (not "44"). If "44" was Banderas he is freaking HUGE for an LB.

Confirmed at Rivals!

word is out that NU offered Mr Stanton this afternoon.
I heard the same thing. Wasn't sure I believed it, so I didn't post anything. Waiting for confirmation, I hope we did.
Confirmed via Rivals.

A couple things here isn't Craig Evans 2014 DT from Wisconsin visiting? Who the hell is Joe Lanning? And I thought there were more Nebraska commits going.
Haven't read anything about Craig Evans...Joe Lanning is an athletic QB recruit who's older brother played baseball for NU (he may have transfered out). He doesn't have a scholarship yet, but could switch positions later if QB doesn't work out.

Not sure about this havent heard it anywhere else. Dont think he was ever going to make it to BRW, he should be here now or tomorrow. He was thinking he could have been here for the start of BRW Friday but he never was going to be here Saturday from everything ive read. Might be scout trying to be clever with words to sell subscriptions...idk.
24.7 has him still going and he should already be here because he is supposed to visit today.
Visited today with his parents. On his way to KSU tonight...

States that he plans on using officials to Hawaii, and probably ASU and Michigan.

Prince was....(the best DB in the Big 12).
The Big 12 is a passing league. Maybe it means more in a league like that than in the BIG10.
