don't know much about playcalling though sometimes I'm kinda confused about the plays being called. But I wonder is Lee and the WR corp making Watson look bad because they cannot execute or is it the other way around? Or do both suck? What I don't really get and I'm not really sure if that's on Watson or not, but how can you eat up the clock with runs and short passes when you are behind three TDs?? I don't get it they wasted nine f'ing minutes. At some point you just gotta go into hurry up offense. And in the red zone you eventually have to take a shot in the endzone to get a TD. Funny thing is they did start to hurry up with about three minutes left. It's seems as if Watson is trying to get his plan to work not matter what instead of adjusting his plan to what's happening on the field

But they run the offense as if they had all the time in the world and eat up 9 minutes and come up with no f'ing points???????????

if your teams are #1, 3, 4 in the country + 3 more in the top 25 it´s hard to argue against that conference. ok that´s gonna change after this weekend but only because they beat up on each other. LSU won´t lose much ground an Bama is likely going to jump TX after the Horns played sloppy and Alabama dominated OleMiss

VT will be 4th in the next poll. If they win out which is not really impossible, hardest game probably next week @ GT, they´ll play for the national championship. Florida and Alabama gonna meet in the SEC championship game so at least one of them will drop past VT, Texas will lose to NU, there is another one and the Hokies will be 2nd at least. Now when NU wins out as well, we are likely going to see a rematch ...ahh getting ahead of things too much i guess ...like the thought though

As I said above...real men cry for real, important reasons...not because they lose a football game. so you don´t want people to tell you what classy is but you are in the positon to tell people what´s important? and btw, not letting 11 year olds show emotion and cry because they lost is just plain dumb

in the first three quarters limping gabbert looked better than healty lee ...dunno to me it looks like what we lost on offense we gained on defense compared to last year. if the D wasn´t playing so stellar I´d be a little concerned. second good defense second time the offense doesn´t produce all that much, hope that´s gonna change

man there was a point in the 3rd quarter where we had alsmost as much yards through miserys penalties as we had on offense. looked ugly for a long time but man this is sweet

I am excited. I am really excited. Last time I was this excited was back in summer 2006. World Cup. Germany playing Italy in the semi-final. I was watching the game with 3.000 people on a huge screen. Inside a gym. What an atmosphere. It was 0-0 going into overtime. You could grasp the tension, the hope of winning, the fear of not making it. Five minutes before the end of overtime ...boom. Italy scores, two minutes later they score again. Game over. It's like hitting a concrete wall at full speed. Now I am here three years later and the feeling is back. Excitement and anxiousness, with a slight urge of vomiting. I only spend one of my almost 30 years in Nebraska. More than 13 years ago. Over here I don't talk Huskers, I don't talk college football, actually I am not talking football at all. On this board I can and I do. Sometimes. Usually I read. I am not much into X's and O's. Back in the days I played Madden on an Amiga once awhile. It took me a long time to figure out that "fake punt" wasn't the only passing play in the playbook. But I have come a long ways. I love reading this board because it makes me feel normal.
