  1. With the exception of Mr. Reagan we have not had a decent President since LBJ. We have also had a long list of poor candidates running against the eventual winners. I don't see this changing in the foreseeable future. I think a lot of the problem is the primary system that starts too early and allows under-qualified candidates to gain momentum and steal the nomination. The Presidency is also a major headache and pain in the ass for who ever has it. I would support, work for and vote for Warren Buffett (unfortunately far too old), Bill Gates or even Mark Cuban, in a heart beat but these people are far too smart to want this job.

  2. Saw it on Sunday and to say it was intense is an understatement.

As it was in Viet Nam our military can not determine who is and who is not a combatant. They are also hindered in the successful completion of their mission by the restrictions placed on them by who ever is in control of the White House and the two houses of Congress.

Did I enjoy this movie? I don't think I can say yes. Am I "happy" I saw it? Yes. I am however much more impressed by a documentary on the History Channel/ AHCH entitled "Inside the Crosshairs." If you haven't seen it its on Youtube and it will give you real insight into what our young men, who are snipers, really do, and the American lives they save.

  3. "A Central Florida woman arrived at a Nebraska airport on Friday with three puppies and two dogs but grew desperate when she was told she couldn't fly with the pups because they were too young.

Then Volusia County resident Cynthia Anderson allegedly drowned one of the puppies - a Doberman - in an airport bathroom after trying to conceal the pooch in her carry-on luggage, according to the Grand Island Police.

The puppies, all believed to be three weeks old or less, were too young to fly, said Grand Island police Capt. Dean Elliott.

"Their eyes weren't even open," added Elliott."

I'm an over the top dog lover. This article makes my blood boil. If I could I'd drop this woman into ISIS territory and let them saw her head off.

  4. Her job keeps her here through tax season. I'm going to check out retirement communities south of Orlando. They look great online but I need

to see them in person before any decision can be made. Its better I do this by myself, she is the kind of shopper who walks onto a car lot and tells the salesman, "Oh I love that one." I'm going down to look not buy, I just want to assure myself that what I see online is what I will

    get.

"Police officers shot dead a teenager armed with a handgun after he got out of a stolen car in St. Louis on Wednesday night.

The shooting comes five months after a police officer shot dead an unarmed teenager in a suburb of the city.

Officers were tailing the car, which was reported stolen in December, when it struck a wall the engine stopped, St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson told reporters.

The 19-year-old passenger was carrying a Tec 9 handgun (semi automatic hand gun, what's he doing with this?) when he got out of the car to flee, and officers ordered him to drop the weapon, Dotson said. Both officers opened fire when he did not, fatally wounding him, he added."

What should be said is that the officers also saved the lives of all those people who would have been killed by this person if he had not been stopped. Tec 9, not for sport or target shooting, killing is what its for. The people of St Louis should award these two officers a medal, thank God they walked away unharmed.

The world is better off without the person who was killed. He made a very poor decision when he didn't drop the weapon.
