  1. In the grand scheme, this WILL do Nebraska good. You cannot duplicate a hostile environment like lane Stadium. As much as this feeling blows, Zac will eventually be better for this. Til then, beat up on ULL and get ready for the trip to Columbia. THAT will be the test.

  2. @ least we didnt do anything the rest of the country would expect us to do @ this point. WIN a game against a good team. Good to not do anything to ruin our reputation. Thanks Shawn. Good luck being Head coach @Colorado

Loudmouth idiots like Mark May will be on tonight bashing the big xii again. Count on it. Was REALLY hoping for a big one today. Let just hope they learn their lessons and take it out on Mizzou.

  3. I'll second the notion that Beemer has sold his soul to win football games.

Seriously. Living in VA, I hear the term "Beamer-ball" enough to make anyone puke. It means nothing more than play ugly, pull a few plays out of your butt and go home with a W. Give credit where it's due, the W is all that counts but my gosh enough with the canonizing.

    Yeah, I'm bitter...don't mind me.

  4. nebraska should have CURB STOMPED vt.

they got into the red zone so many times it was retarded.

no, that's not right. nebraska got into the red zone and then PLAYED RETARDED.

this game was nebraska's to lose and sure as sooners rip manfruit from longhorns, they did.

if i had a dog, i'd be kicking it right now. i'm so mad, i'm tempted to go down to the humane society just so i can ask if they're willing to rent kicking dogs.

bo might not point a finger and prefers using the thumb, but it was our offense that gave huskernation the finger all during this game. outside of helu's power of will and henry's leg, huskers had nothing.

one FREAKIN' first down. that all that was need to seal this deal and they couldn't do that. blackshirts were good and they were at times superhuman, but there's only so much they can do.

this game was full of teachable moments. hopefully huskers will learn.

The offense came up small today...real small. Like I said, the first reaction is to scream at the blackshirts...but IMO the offense gets a big sack of crap laid on their doorstep here. ONE TD and this game was over. Tech was waiting to be knocked out of their misery. We let them hang around and they beat us. Simple as that.

  5. You think it's bad for you guys...we're in Techie territory! Besides that last drive, so much to give a husker heartburn tonight. The punt on 4th and short late, the TD that SHOULD HAVE been, Zac just looking awful today. In the end, that 3rd and goal is what we'll see on Sportscenter, but they had no excuse being in the game at that point. None.

  6. Bradford wanted to return for a chance at a championship, well, all I can say is that at least he won't have to go to Detroit.....lol

After today, ESPN has annointed BYU vs Notre Dame for the BCS title, Touchdown Jesus vs. The Prophet, Celibacy vs Polygamy!!!!

It's true, they've been talking up Fat Charlie for a while. BYU is really going to get the "push" now. Looking at their schedule, it looks like pretty clear sailing for them until the Utes go to Provo for the last game of the year.

  7. Oklahoma, well, i was thinking that would beat BYU, even though BYU is like 9-1 against Big-12 teams.

But as a commentator put it, OU was expected to blow out BYU, and even when Bradford was in, them seemed to struggle. With Bradford out, which i have not heard for how long he will be out. It raises our chances of winning, or atleast a closer game than last year. But we still havent seen how our huskers handle themselves against a good team like OU. I say once we play VT and get into our conference games, we will have a better picture of our chances against OU and whether or not Bradford will play.

Thing that stood out to me was that OLine of OU's, which is a fairly obvious statement after seeing the injury. Before that though, they nearly got Bradford killed on a few occasions. I am happy that the injury isn't serious, because you don't want to win that way. That said, that offense is gonna have some serious problems until that OL is shored up.

Their O-Line is all new and was going to be the huge ? on their team. Along with the loss of some of the WR's.

Yep, all very young up front. It definitely shows. They have some young play makers, for sure...as always. But it was like a jailbreak for BYU on several occasions. Ugly!

  8. Oklahoma, well, i was thinking that would beat BYU, even though BYU is like 9-1 against Big-12 teams.

  9. 1) Like everyone else said...Love the Kelly Kelly Avatar. NICE! :)

    2) For the first time in a very very long time, I'll be rooting for Oklahoma tonight. Big XII comes first. I am sick and tired of the crap I'm getting at work about how the Huskers play in the "Arena Football" conference. I go around and around with people on this and it really gets tiring after a while. Perhaps a Big 12 team beating the big, scary SEC gators (another team I can't stand) would finally get the conference naysayers to shut their traps?

  10. The Gator would be sweet, but they won't say no to the Irish (no matter how bad they are) and having a team like FSU/GT is a natural draw for them. I think the Sun is the most likely route for us...and the insight is just a worst case scenario. Beating UW would be fun, but I'd love a shot against a team like Arizona or Northwestern.

  11. I've seen a few mocks that Bowman is a third rounder, Keller will be a sencond day pick up.

Since the 3rd thru 7th rd is the second day this year, they'll both bee second day picks

But Bowman AND Purify go before Keller. I'd be shocked if it happened any different
