  1. As someone from NY/NJ area, I can tell you that as a whole, NY is a lousy college football town. There's too much other stuff going on and no real home team option. There are segments of fans from a lot of schools that capture a small piece of the market. That said, RU is part of that plurality. There are lots of RU alums around the NYC Metro area that are easily attainable from a B1G standpoint. And again, that's a rising program that the B1G is getting in on the ground floor on. I'm more puzzled by MD honestly. The DC market isn't THAT big a catch and MD football hasn't been worth much from the get go...plus their unis are awful ;)

  3. Florida will never allow Florida State or Miami into the SEC, just as South Carolina will never allow Clemson into the SEC.

And ESPN's end game appears right, in that this is a move to go to 16 teams--folks honestly shouldn't judge the Rutgers/Maryland move until we get our final two pieces of the puzzle in place.

Yeah, Jim Delaney is no one's fool. I wouldn't mind adding some combination of North Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia Tech so long as the divisions are drawn up evenly.

UVA and Va Tech are a package deal, so that wouldn't work. Tech and UNC would help from a basketball prospective, but I doubt UNC would leave the ACC. As for this move, there's no doubt it's all about getting more folks watching B1G network. Rutgers isn't as bad as you think football wise. At the very least, they could hold their own with the Indiana and Purdues of the world.

  4. Haven't even touched Miller for 5 quarters now including last year...unless they can suddenly and magically figure out how to do it, this 2nd half will get ugly.

That's not true. We touched him like Sandusky at a pajama party during the second half of last year's game before he came up lame.

    #1) LOL

#2) They did slow him down some but he was able to gash us for a few even in the second half last year. I'm not counting the 1st qr today because the Bucks came out pretty vanilla to start with. Hoping Bo and Paps come up with something.
