  1. I think the easy answer is that Raiola goes due to o-line performance. Well, strength and conditioning; as well as the athletic ability of the players I think have had a bigger impact on the results.  So I’m good with Raiola staying.

McGuire — too early to tell.  Surprised by the hire.  His group has had minimal impact, but again, quality of players is a factor.

I’m good with keeping the staff intact.  Some consistency and continuity would be appreciated.
Lastly, Rhule was given a blank check to assemble the best staff.  I wish he would have done that.

Calm down people.  What the hell did you expect? Y'all make me laugh.

I didn’t expect them to win, but I thought they’d keep it close until the 2nd half.
So many times, you see top teams go into the underdog’s stadium and it’s a buzz saw environment and the home team is hyped and you can just feel the upset potential in the air.
what’s happening now is what we figured, but it’s too bad that the coaches and players look like they figured this would happen too.

We’re supposed to be developing a “next man up” program. If this season is about building for the next few years, this will be tough, but it ain’t a bad thing. Mr. Johnson, Mr. Ives, let’s see what ya got. We’ll be better next year for it.

Glad I read the thread because I was going to say exactly this.

    Also, through 3 games:

    Johnson- 12 carries, 65 yds., 0 TD’s

Ervin Jr.- 38 carries, 196 yds., 1 TD

Neither are game breakers.  Feel bad for the guys, but realistically, shouldn’t be difficult to replace.

  4. Sanders is a win - now coach.  I don’t know if he is a program builder.  He may only be there to elevate Shaddeur and Shiloh Sanders to the NFL, and once they are done, he’s out .
He’s a good hype man and knows how to attract talent.  He is a good coach, and I think a better coach than Rhule,  but time will tell if he’s committed to Colorado .

Rhule.. well we were told that he turned around Temple and Baylor.  Not too sure about that.  Frost turned around UCF.. so there ya go.

  5. Sims is sporadic with the abilities of both a playmaker and play breaker.
Unfortunately, I think Sims is the best decision at this point … or…

We go with Haarberg in the role of a game manager.  But that means the running backs and the o-line need to step it up big time to become the rushing production and Haarberg makes a good scramble here and there.  We call smart/easy throws for him, grind clock , play conservative and hang your hat on the D.  We basically become Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin until we go Primetime on the portal next season.

Sanders is erratic with his accuracy and that stunted multiple Colorado drives today. Their run game was non-existent for the majority of the game. I expect the majority of our opponents to have better all-around offensive play.

So we’re giving up more than 36 per game the rest of the way ?

Uhm, didn't say anything about his coaching. It's his personality. Sorry you can't differentiate between the two.

His personality.. you know, All he does is exactly what he says he’s going to do — at every level.  He can act however he wants.
You can call him a douche, I call him a winner.   You can’t handle a guy going and doing exactly what he says he’s going to do and resort to name calling?  That’s a weak move .
