BS. The plays were there like Eric said. Blame the coaches and the AD all you want, but that's what happened. I don't think that we should blame just one person (though Peterson is big part of it) that we lost by 60 damn points yesterday. Everyone f*cking sucked yesterday. I have never been so damn embarrassed in my life. If f*cking Tech can beat by 60 then OU is going to put up 100 and we will get shut out. Hell Baylor might put up 50 on us.

I find it hard that you think green is going to go over century mark when last game callahan gave him one carry. It's like callahan has a new favorite each game. IT's the same with wr's. Running backs, one day its green, the next horne, and last game jackson. God forbid he try to get the future of the Husker backfield some playing time NOW. I think it's a good thing to spread it around. Correct me if I'm wrong but when Bill came here he said he was going to try to win the title right away not just have a adjustment year and wait for his players. The best players should be out on the field. Well he can try to win, but we just don't have the athletes that he is use to try and run his offense. Remember this is a transistion year for Callahan too.

Kansas wasn't too bad. There record may not show that they are very good. But I believe that they will be a team that people do not want to face later on in the season.

I think that if he could get some talent around him in that offense at Tampa then he could be pretty good. But they have no talent right now so he is going to have a long year.

Wow I would love to have him on our offensive line. He looks like he could be pretty crazy.

Just because the offense is called the "West Coast Offense" doesn't mean that the players need to come from the west coast. Coaches use this offense all over the country (Minnesota, California, Wisconsin). Good players can come from anywhere.

You guys bring up a good point, but what if Beck is the next big thing for college football quarterbacks. I would feel really stupid if we let him go somewhere else and started setting records. The guy has skills. He travels around a lot so I don't think that he would get homesick. Plus, He is a leader for his team so I don't think that his attitude is that big of a problem. I like him, and think that we should stick with him.

Its great to see Texas at the top of the list. Maybe they can get to a New Years Day bowl game one of these years.

You'd be better off to let him beat you up and then sue the crap out of him. I think it's stupid and ridiculous to let him on campus. Maybe Green will be his favorite this game. Its hard telling how Bill is going to play but it may be Green this game. If it is, then I think that he could get quite a few yards.

I didn't mean to make it sound like our opponents are doing good. So Miss is winning and that is it. Everyone else is playing like crap.

I can't believe that the Big 12 has 8 teams in the top 25. Thats says a lot about our conference and our coaches.

I hope that we use him on the defensive side of the ball. We need a couple of big hitters back there. We have great coverage people right now but I wouldn't call any of our players big hitters yet.

I think that Ross and Green are going to have big games on the ground. I look for both of them to be over the century mark. If we control the clock, don't turn the ball over, and capitalize on scoring opportunities then we have a great chance.

And yes I agree this is the time to adjust our gameplan and pace the game... ala a bball team that cant run all day or they would get blown outta the gym. Well Southern Miss is still undefeated and Western Illionis is doing good in DII. To bad Pitt is sucking it up.

I know that I want to party with him. But the question I have is, do I get in a fight with him so that I can be on tv or should I be nice so I display a good image for the UNL campus.

It is good to hear that he plays with some emotion on the field. I think that we need a few more of those kinds of players.

Does anyone know what kind of an offense his team runs now. Its not that big of a deal. But I would like to know how involved he is in pass blocking and run blocking.

were not saying not to give him a chance, were saying we shouldn't be afraid to get someone else or better have a good backup plan in case he sucks. Beck is putting us into a High Risk, High Reward situation right now. I say that we take a gamble and let it ride. If we go with Beck then there is no back up plan as far as recruiting another quarterback. You guys have to understand that he is not going to let us do both.

I really don't think our wr talent is all that bad. If they would play leflore and fluellen more that would sure help. We might have a few good recievers on our roster right now. But I think that we need to take the next step and get a big time play maker. (Randy Moss, Roy Williams) Right now we have no recievers that can change a game. We need to find one.

Well thats a good idea, but see I tend to run my mouth a little bit and I really don't need my ass kicked over the first thing that I said. I would rather have them beat me up after about 20 or so comments.

oklahoma has a better running game then we do. I wouldn't say that they have a better running "GAME" than we do." They may have a better running back in Peterson than we have in Ross, but I would put Green, Jackson, and Horne over the rest of Oklahoma's backs. We are averaging more yards a game than Oklahoma and I think that our yards per carry are better than theirs too.

I hope that he plans to run the ball a bunch against them. If Oklahoma can get two players over 75 yards on them. Then I think that we can get two players with at least that much against their defense.
