Honestly wwwwaaaayyyy better than I thought he might. WHile this was not my choice of a head coach after hearing Coach Osborne's input I understand why he was Tom's choice and I respect it. Congrats to all of you here that nailed this from the start!! You were spot on!!! I wish nothing but the best of luck to our new head coach and his staff to be names. I hope and pray for many years of ASS KICKIN Husker Football again!!! GO BIG RED!!!

Whoever comes to Nebraska will be an unproven commodity for Husker Football. I don’t care what their previous experience is. Whether it is Bo Pelini, Turner Gill, Paul Johnson or whoever. Until they embrace Huskerland and have a chance to implement what ever system they have in mind nobody knows what the coaches will be like or what kind of results they will have. I think that given the background of all of the coaches who have been mentioned they all bring certain qualifications to the table and stand a very good chance of restoring Nebraska to a respectable force in college football. I am just glad this whole thing is over and I want to wish the new staff the best of luck!!!! GO BIG RED!!!!!

Well the key thing to remember about these idiot' is a few days ago they said Pelini didn't knowck the socks off of Tom Osborne and Harvey Pearlman and that Turner Gill was emerging as the top candidate. Then later on they say it was a two man race between Truner Gill and Bo pelini Then later they say Pelini abosolutely nailed his interview and he will be the new Huskers coach All from their INSIDE SOURCES ESPN you have lost all creditbility with me I will just be glad we can move forward after today and begin a new and hopefully better era in Husker Football! Thank God it is over and GO BIG RED!!!!!

Kinda why I started trying to make light of it. Was not trying to hack anyone off. I said several days ago that until Ozz calls the press conference all this is pure and utter BS. I was on a different board this moring and they were actually calling each other out to beat the crap outta one another. See ESPN has more money that Gawd so they hired the guy's from Delta House to dig through the trash for any clues at UNL. Well see what the boy's from Delta house didn't know that false copies of notes TO and Pearlman took were planted in the trash and that ther real coach has already been named Yeah see and now TO can name the whole staff and then step down and appoint Frank as head coach and then it will be like the last 4 years never happend

Ok I think we all agree that Turner Gill is a great guy and a good role model, coach motivator and so on. That being said it would not surprise me in the least if he stayed at Buffalo and finished what he started. After reading what he said it struck me that he might want to stay there a couple more years and build that program. He might have told TO no, thanks but I need to finish what I started. They gave me a shot at being a head coach and I want to build something here. Let’s face it, even though it is in the MAC if he can take a doormat program and get bowl eligible next year or maybe better, the next time a coaching job at a bigger BCA school comes open he won’t have the hear he needs more seasoning, isn’t ready or what ever. If he can take a school like Buffalo and make a winner out of the program, he should be able to get any job that comes open, well most any job. I guess we will see next week when TO gives us THE PLAN!!
