  1. Anyone have any experience with dogs. We picked up a dog from the Humane Society 3 days ago and today it bit my wife. It has been snarling alittle at my children. Some people say that training will fix this but im not so sure. As my wife is headed to the ER to get a rabies shot im asking you if this is a dog i should keep around and give another chance or send it down the road. No im not stupid but im trying to understand if the dog felt threatened and lashed out.

If you're talking "punished" as in "locked up in order to make humans feel better about being bitten" then whatever. And if the dog truly is just plain dangerous then yes, unfortunately something must be done. But I really hate the ignorance of most people who are like "That dog needs a good beatin'" ...and sadly there are a lot of people like that out there

Ah crap my first comment got cut off. "within a very very short time span, like within a minute of the bad behavior taking place" is kinda how it finished

You're sort of missing the point, tschu. It's not about punishing the dog. BRPWagon should take the dog back so it won't bite his kid's face off.
