ISU is being smart about it... more seats means more teams can travel to see their teams play - Ames isnt too far from UN-L, Kansas, Mizzou, KState and Iowa are all less than 5 hours away... not saying UK, Mizzou and KState travel as well as Iowa and Nebraska, but opportunity none the less to fill the seats once the initial excitement of a "new stadium" wears off and the seats are empty, once again. just a thought...
