  1. if you think that espn allowed multiple votes from one IP in a period under 24 hours... you would be wrong. they KNOW that husker fans vote like that. look at the tournament for the greatest college football team of all time... 71 and 95 huskers playing against each other in the championship. TO is GOAT. The End.
  2. lets put a giant weather bubble over lincoln so that its nice year-round. maybe build an ocean around us too.
  3. *buys all possible bo pelini domains to sell them*
  4. i cant help but agree, as selfish as it is. bo being a part of winning a national championship for another team after he is named head ball coach at nebraska... kinda takes away from the sense of urgency we have at nebraska. "so bo, are you ready to win a NC for nebraska?" "i guess so" as opposed to "so bo, are you ready to win a NC for nebraska?" "I NEED ONE LIKE CRACK!" theres a bit of a difference between winning a NC as a defensive coordinator and winning a NC as a head coach. he WILL be hungry if not hungrier for a NC with Nebraska i agree with you texan. and after reading the last part of sarge's post about "all i wanna do is get back"... i have officially flip-flopped my stance.

  6. yeah, i wanted him in 03 as well but i was kinda interested to see who else we could get. but now im glad everything went down the way it did. i believe since 03 bo has made himself more qualified than ever to be head ball coach at nebraska. thanks for the link.
  7. this is the point in time where we have to sit around and worry about stuff like this. all we can do is swallow our feelings and wait for Bo to prove himself. as for the other topic.. i understand certain gripes when it comes to internet lingo.. especially when it takes away from your ability to read as smoothly as you usually do. but some of you make yourselves sound like senior citizens. this is the internet, we have the luxury of being less formal than we have to be at our jobs. don't take that right away from us just because you confuse your computer with a typewriter. you wouldn't eat a mcdonalds cheeseburger with a fork and knife, so why not save letter writing skills for the nine to five.
  8. i dont care if we lose every other game... we.. will.. beat.. OKLAHOMA!!
  9. the more we move forward the more excited i become. WELCOME BACK COACH BROWN.. welcome back home.
  10. funny you say that... i had sweet dreams last night after a pleasent sunday. couldn't have slept better. the bca is pushing it... if they don't watch it they are going to turn into the exact thing they are trying to stop. they are trying to stop people from hiring only white... but they want everyone to hire only black. get outta here. we hired the best for the job.
  11. i didn't realize that the overall perception down there was that bo has coached his last game as a tiger. this story sheds some light... http://www.2theadvocate.com/sports/lsu/12030911.html if thats the case... bo should go full throttle as the man at nebraska from now on. TO and bo should've/would've talked about this before the conference. if they didn't talk about it.. bo's comment about "it would be something i would need TO's blessing on" kind of puts TO in a bad position. because now if he says no, then he kinda looks like a bad guy. on the other hand... i can completely respect if he wants to finish what he started defensively at lsu. its a big deal to be playing for the NC. and if we as fans were at lsu right now, we'd be expecting bo to stay probably. as far as the whole "its good for recruiting" arguement... god forbid and probably not going to happen, but what if lsu loses?
  12. i remember before we started even thinking about firing billy... i would watch bo on OU games and now the few years he's been at lsu, especially this year.. i couldnt help but have a "why the hell did we let that guy go, we messed up." feeling. bo knows.
