Seriously, now that Bo has his own recruits, which part of our team is better than Callahan's teams? Offense - no. Defense - didn't look like it tonight. Special teams - perhaps. Bo will get a lot more slack because he talks tuff and is cranky and we like that I guess. Recruiting is clearly a huge weakness. Why does Fresno State have a better QB than us. Why does almost every D1 team have a better QB than us? Wisconsin completely owned us.

Am I the only one worried about how our Huskers will fair in the Big 10?? Think about it. We should be able to beat Indiana, Northwestern, Illinois usually. I fear that Ohio St., Wisc., Michigan (once they rebound), Penn St., and Iowa will routinely beat us. Other teams I'd put about 50/50 depending on what type of year they and we are having. I know that Minnesota has a DC that will have his boys looking to light their hair on fire and cause a wreck when they play our Huskers. Makes me hope we can keep the big 12 together. At least we're somewhat competitive in the North Division. GBR!

what do you think our record would have been at this point this year? I believe we'd only have one loss (to Tx Tech). The defense is now solid with Callahan recruits. Coach Cosgrove has proved he can coach by leading Minnesota's D to a decent year. Callahan and staff were Husker martyrs, they had the misfortune of being the one's who had to inherit the mess Frankfurter Solich left the program in. With Callahan's offensive acumen, no way we lose to Va Tech, Ia State, and Tx this year. I like Coach B (I no longer call him Coach Bo because there's no "O" with him) and hope they can hire someone who understands how to coach offense to help Coach B out. Go big red!

No, a garbage time TD means very little. From what I hear the coaches say, the gap is wide. The most popular player on a struggling team is always the #2 QB. I know you're right. But this season's pretty much hosed. We can probably pick up win 6 and get a bowl without Ganz. Witt and Lee should get some PT and we'll figure out who looks good for next year.
