  1. I know Joe Dailey would look good in this game, but Price is impressive for a sophomore. I thought that when we played him... much more impressive than Jake Locker.

He'll be good, if they can keep the talent level around him.

  2. You'd never really know it here, but Washington is still trying to play more physical.

But they don't realize that takes more time and they are beating themselves. More plays is more mistake opportunities. Baylor wins off quick scores.

  3. I'm watching online and unlike some of the other season games, they haven't been open mic'd on TV breaks. I've been kinda disappointed with that aspect. Shame it's just the newbies like Meyer that keep mics open during the outros to breaks.

  4. IMO, RG3 turns pro.....can't do anything more to "up" his draft stock..... everything to lose and nothing to gain (except team goals)....

He will be #2 player off of board and get to play "inside" either at Indy or Minn..... 2 great franchises who are down this year...

    Go Pro

Agreed, although, Minn seems doubtful since they drafted a qb last year.

Ooops.. I think the Rams may be #2 and the Vikings #3.... all Indoor stadiums though.... or is Minnesota moving back outdoors. Yes, Vikings took Ponder and Rams have Bradford....... I still think RG3 may be better than both...

By the way... this game is worse than a basketball game. It's like recess football.

Don't watch enough PRO to really know, I'd take him #2 cause he's the best CFB player this year.

Also can't argue about this game, Recess football I played had more defense. It's hilarious, the third quarter is half over. It's a track meet.

  5. Man that lower level college talent in Washington is really laying down for Baylor and Heisman trophy winner RG3

That a joke? cause half or more of that team is from Cali, just like every other pac12 team.

and higher level Baylor talent, you got me, at least halfway, Bazinga! good one.

  6. supposedly we didn't sell out our 11k ticket allotment........all bowl attendance is down so far, except ND/FSU game.......good to see the Irish implode and blow a lead again....

I have a hard time believing we didn't sell out our allotment. But it was good to see ND implode again...even though I might've picked them.

The last tally I saw was 8500 of 12500 tickets sold from the Nebraska allotment. Many people cite the price of flights being too high as main reason not going.

It's a good reason, between that and not wanting to get felt up or irradiated, I wouldn't want to fly either. It's also a really long drive, I've done it a few times. White knuckle with idiots doing 100mph weaving through traffic from atl south.

  7. IMO, RG3 turns pro.....can't do anything more to "up" his draft stock..... everything to lose and nothing to gain (except team goals)....

  8. Sark said it at the half, it's been conditioning, especially on the line. UW has been physically wearing Baylor down, especially on the lines. They got one TD off a turnover, but were getting sacks also in the second quarter on RG3.

Like I edited above, Baylor's offense looked Gassed, and their defense not surprisingly is out-manned. It looked like their players went home and ate a huge amount of turkey for a week then just showed up at the game and forgot that they'd have to run for more then a quarter.

  9. WOW! Announced the teams are on pace to go over 1000 yards for the game.

After the last drive I would have to say that Price is outplaying RG3. Kinda confused how Washington only won 7 games this season????

2 minutes to go in the half.....28-21 Washington

Thought Price was gimpy at some point in the NU vs UW game. They weren't the same team with just Polk as a weapon.

  10. He'd be another knee injury away from losing millions and he will never add to his legend at Baylor. It'd a pretty big risk for a very little reward.

Edit: on a side note Baylor's offense has looked completely gassed in the second quarter, which is surprising considering they were in track meets half the year.

  11. Believe me, no one on this board dislikes KSU more than I..... but I do have to recognize what Snyder did for the program.

Question: Is what Art Briles doing at Baylor BETTER - WORSE than what Snyder did at KSU ? Both programs were horrible and both coaches have taken them to a completely different level than anyone imagined. Yes, they had great players, but they had to recruit those guys and convince them to come to a losing school.

** Both of these guys must be tremendous motivators and coaches.... Didn't say I "liked" them, just giving respect where respect is due !!

I'd have to say Synder is more surprising, but mostly because Baylor's been more of a gradual upswing. I mean pretty much since RG3's freshman year you knew with him playing, even as just a runner, Baylor had a puncher's chance vs anyone. Now that RG3's become a pretty legit passer, with his ability to keep plays alive Baylor's winning was not as surprising. Both are good coaches, but I'd say Snyder is definitely better overall at this point for doing it twice now. It'll be interesting to see what happens with Baylor once RG3 leaves. The guy's just a once in a decade sort of athlete in cfb (more at a Baylor).

So my question is, should RG3 make the right decision and turn pro, is he the #2 qb off the board? There's obviously nothing more he'd ever prove at Baylor, they won't have the defense to make a championship run.

Between Vick and Tebow I think they might actually have enough proof that these athletic running quarterbacks can win, and RG3 is very similar to a young Vick, with a much better arm. Frankly potential wise I'd take him above Luck (but I've always thought manning like QB's were boring).

  12. Didn't watch it close enough but that is pretty good. Good catch, and LOL to whoever did that.

Saw a report on the national (NBC) news tonight talking about how Orlando's parks had a 2+ million person upswing this holiday season compared to last year and they showed a ton of red clad people walking around the Disney parks, which apparently had lines to even get in this week, between bowl games and just people finding a way to make the trip this year.

  13. Heh, cute. FSU came back, good for them. And as the commentators for the past two decades have said....this has been another disappointing season for the fighting Irish.

Not disappointing enough for that team. Hopefully they are back to losing to the service academies next year.
