According to huskersillustrated's free message boards, rumors are circulating that on the pay side of the site it talks of a new surprise "silent" visitor this weekend. Anyone else heard of this info? Or who it might be? This weekend is huge for us....

Former Fremont, NE High football standout Matt Donahue is transferring back home to Nebraska huskersillustrated.com reports. He played in four games this year as a freshman WR before injuring his thumb. In those four games he had 6 catches for 143 yards. Very fast kid with a lot of upside. Yeah I noticed that too. It also doesn't even have Hoch on there at all....

Huskersillustrated.com reports we have offered and are in the mix for 4 star WR Jerry Johnson. Johnson was formerly committed to UCLA. Big Red Report also says we have offered another WR Brodrick Smith, a 3 star from Garden City, Kansas.

Huskersillustrated.com mentions Aki Vakalahi as a possible visitor and "replacement" for Simi Kuli. I don't have access to the pay side, but does anyone else know anything about this guy and our chances with him? Is he going to visit? I sure hope so!

I'm pretty sure he said that Compton, Hoch, and Okafor are coming on the 11th with the majority of the other prospects. I think it was right at the beginning of his segment...

Noticed that huskersillustrated.com had an article about him in their recruiting section. Is Pelini recruiting him hard or do you think they are asking him to walk on? Does he have any other offers? All I know is that he is a great athlete and he would look good on the field every Saturday!
