Bingo, they are as vulnerable as always.  They are just more disciplined than most teams, that's it.  That stops mattering this year when we hang around 60 on them.  They have benefited from our rocky path into the B1G thus far, that's over with.

    You might say intelligent, also.

I am watching KC and Ind play and some stupid fan throws a snowball on the

field!  Security wasn’t called, as far as I know, but, the KC coach went up and gave him a look and if looks could kill, he would be a dead S.O.B.!!!

I wish they would of hauled his you know what out!!!  Another thing that rattles my feathers is when someone from the stands runs on the field whether it’s football baseball or whatever!

    Probably a Colorado Buffalo fan

  3. Getting blown out by Colorado put a crack in Nebraska's psyche.  The coup de gras the the psyche was losing to Miami and that put a fork into the Nebraska swagger.

I wonder what would have happened if Nebraska played someone else in a bowl game and won.

  4. The pit bull lives with a family with 3 rowdy boys and I could hear them as I was coming down the street on the opposite side from their house.  Just as I get across from the house one of the kids bursts out of the front door at a full run. Before the storm door can close out comes the VERY excited dog and once it notices us he comes for us.  My dog barks and growls in defense but is no match for the much bigger dog.  I do try to kick the dog so then he bites me in the leg.  He is now firmly attached to my dog's tail and he is limp. The dog's owner pull her dog off and I scoop and run.

  5. 1) Somebody ransacked my car and the neighbors car - they broke the neighbor's company car window (which woke up both of us in the duplex) and since I don't lock my doors all they did was open up the doors and look for stuff.  I also never leave anything in my car.

    2) Pretty much the same deal - drove to an elementary school to walk my dog at night and while I was gone somebody in a pickup truck ransacked my car (saw them 1/2 block away).  This time they took my garage door opener and some papers WITH MY ADDRESS ON IT.  I drove really fast back home and chained my garage door shut.

    3) Walking my dog, from home this time, and the neighbor's pit bull got loose and attacked us.  First time I was ever in court. (Maybe a new thread)

I don't walk my dog anymore

I think motivation and want-to can sometimes be a cop out, but, I believe it played a role in this game. This was a consolation game for Georgia after they failed (for the second year in a row) to beat Bama with everything on the line. Texas wasn't sniffing the CFP even if they had beaten Oklahoma last month, and then here was a chance to take on one of the best of the SEC and regain some national relevance.

That's not to say Georgia players didn't want to win. I'm sure they did. But, I don't think they put the same level of care/attention/interest into this game as they did the Bama game.

I thought I heard the announcers say that after the first 2-3 pre-bowl practices the coaches had to sit some of the starters down and talk to them about their effort.  I don't think the players cared that much

Bowl season isn't what it was thats for sure.  Players not playing, and some teams just don't care even if they are at a bowl game anymore.

Take your top 16 teams, and put them in bowl games, and thats the start of playoff season.

Rose, Orange, Cotton, Fiesta, Sugar, Holiday, ETC.  Each bowl game will have tradition.  Rose would have Big 10/ Pac 12, ETC.

    So simple.  Yet so difficult.

This can't work - there are only 14 SEC teams to fill in the bracket  You think they will let 2 non-SEC teams in?

I was referring to the first one.  There was no question.  Cyclone fans did not agree however.

Background: Cy is/was a poster on here.  He graduated from a Nebraska HS went to ISU and played in the line.  He now is one of the chain gang at ISU and teaches his son how to cheat in the line.  He is not around as much since NU got smart and joined the Big 10

Iowa State fans in a tizzy over a clear correct targeting call against them (and subsequent ejection).
