I only heard of the tradition 1 or 2 weeks ago. I try to watch the future Husker opponents a week before - if not for that I would never watch an Iowa game on purpose. And I thought it was at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Bo is a good friend with the Texas Tech AD, no? And Bo has a history of stopping high powered Big 12 offenses?

Whether or not the refs are calling or not calling penalties, i think the bottom line is just that they are soooo inconsistent on what is called vs not called. I've seen us get away with a couple of things that weren't called that were far more egregious than things we have been called for. The non-calls on the obvious is what gets me the most. Twisting guys heads off, late hits out of bounds, etc, late hits on our QB or hit in the head while he's sliding not called, but we touch their Precious and boom, it's 15.

Now that many high schools have finished their seasons, there are a lot of possible replacement crews available.

Saw a tweet that said Husker football defense is averaging 37 points per game and Husker basketball defense is averaging 35. Lol
'84 Husker football team average offense points outscored the basketball team's average

1) Last years defense did not operate in a vacuum, it WAS a vacuum - as in nothing there
2) We need something like a slugging average. One stat doesn't tell the entire story - I'm sure someone has some sort of formula for offense and for defense.

The only good thing for me -11 am games don't have a lead in game that will go long

I always thought that teams that did not make a bowl game should get X additional spring practice days.

The first WV touchdown had a personal foul.
Macho Texas just can't handle the mean people who do the horns down. The more they whine and moan, the more tempting it is to do it.

I know what you meant. Just trying to be funny. There is a thread about 1000 yard rushers too
I didn't even know what thread this was - I was replying to the tweet post from Christopherson

Ozigbo isn’t close to 1000 yards receiving
Edit: And Ozigbo needs to average 68 yards to get to 1000 yards RUSHING

Morgan needs to average about 92 yards a game for the next 3 to not only get to 1,000 but to also become the all time career receiving yards leader. He’s also 20ish receptions shy of the single season record.
Spielman needs to average about 84 yards to get to 1,000 and 16 receptions to get the single season record.
And Ozigbo needs to average 68 yards to get to 1000

2. You get canned after 2-3 years who cares, you still get all that jack and you still stay in coaching because those guys all hire each other.

This absolutely cannot be a real tradition
1) Traditions only exist for 1 1/2 years.
