I only heard of the tradition 1 or 2 weeks ago.  I try to watch the future Husker opponents a week before - if not for that I would never watch an Iowa game on purpose. And I thought it was at the end of the 3rd quarter.

1) Last years defense did not operate in a vacuum, it WAS a vacuum - as in nothing there

2) We need something like a slugging average. One stat doesn't tell the entire story - I'm sure someone has some sort of formula for offense and for defense.

The only good thing for me -11 am games don't have a lead in game that will go long

I always thought that teams that did not make a bowl game should get X additional spring practice days.
