Hopefully he is not ready for big time college football. I hope that the blackshirts make his first game his worst day ever.
I'm guessing he will be fresh and ready to go, probably have a big game.

Remember, Nebraska has the #9 running back recruit of the class of 2002. You see where he is right now, so why is that any indication that this kid will have a big game against Nebraska? Has anyone seen him play, let alone face a hopefully raucous homecoming game crowd? Didn't think so.
so with that explanation why does anyone think we will be worth the damn in 3 years just because callahan is getting rated players. They suck just like horne right?
I didn't say they suck, I said how they are rated doesn't necessarily translate to performance on the field. You must like Mugs root beer because you are THICK HEADED!

Bo also has a family that he might not want to move for the third time in three years. He probally wants some stability in his life right now. That is why he will stay at OU. IMO.
You underestimate Bo Pelini. He is one pompous ass who had a fit because one of the top division 1 programs in America didn't want to give a shot to an unproven, mentally unbalanced defensive coordinator. He would jump at the chance to help bring the D back in Florida. Right now he is basically not going into unchartered territory. Oklahoma's defense is neither better nor worse than it was last season, so no impact can be felt by Pelini's presence.

How will Brad Smith beat the Huskers with Pinkel's "short bus" game plan?

Sweet, the best punter/long field goal kicker/center fielder in Nebraska history! Thanks Darin!

Nebraska would be undefeated and number one in the nation if Bo Pelini was still there and Nebraska ran the option. For what Pelini did last year, there should be a bronzed 12 foot tall statue of him outside memorial stadium. Ok, at least over a message board no one can tell I can't keep a straight face while typing that. :up

I am looking forward to the game on saturday. Missouri has had some close calls in the last couple weeks, but have inner turmoil(maybe because Pinkel is a retard). Anyways, I think if Nebraska plays an error-free game they will win. I am glad to see Sievers say something in the paper that resembles a fiery attitude, hopefully that can carry over to the rest of the blackshirts and can get the momentum rolling for the rest of the season

I wasn't serious about him trying out at cornerback, I was just taking a poke at Fabian's suspect play on saturday.

Horne is a bozo. He had some initial success, got figured out, then didn't have the drive to get better to be the man last year and obviously didn't show Callahan all that much this year. If Nebraska gets a big time recruit like Marlon Lucky and more top echelon talent at running back that Callahan is recruiting, the Texas A&M game where Horne scored 4 TD's as a freshman will be a very distant memory. He might look into playing cornberback or transferring.

I went to the game against Baylor on saturday and I had a lot of fun. I was pleased to see that people came out to see the game, but I was a little disappointed in the crowd at the game. I saw MANY people sitting the entire game, not making any noise. A lot of the noise I did hear was "Way to go Cosgrove" and "You Suck Cosgrove". Ya know, I don't think it's Kevin Cosgrove's fault that Chad Sievers and Bo Ruud get suckered in by any sort of play fake and forget they have to cover a back or tight end. If you are going to come to the game and be negative when Nebraska wins by almost 5 touchdowns, then I don't think the team really needs your support. Give up your tickets to someone who will enjoy the game and root passionately for the team win or lose. And if you do enjoy the games, make some noise, the crowd energy saturday at the game was borderline pathetic. I remember going to a game against Utah St. where the crowd was more jacked up. Let's Go Husker Nation!
