Crazy.
That's crazy. I flew there once as well. I've also drove there. Weird.

Pretty much the same as labeling anything you don't agree with as "outrage" so that you can be dismissive of it.
You are right it is pretty easy to be dismissive of a post that tries to paint a picture of something that isn't there. Maybe outrage wasn't the correct term but none the less I stick by my post.

What do you mean? I could be way off, but I think you are questioning why they tweeted this out?
In case you didn't know, everyone was doing this stuff in "celebration" of twitter allowing 280 characters now.
But fake outrage over something that isn't there is easier than realizing that this tweet is exactly 280 characters.

2008
Nate Swift - 941 (Todd Peterson - 786)
Roy Helu - 803
I'm guessing that 2008 & 2015 are the only times this has happened. Unless it happens again this year.

Maybe I'm alone but I have honestly just lost interest in all of it. Don't really care what Riley, Diaco, Banker etc even have to say. It all doesn't matter any way- what happens on the field isn't going to change. I'll be glad after the Iowa game just so we can turn the page and see what BM has in store for NU. Whatever his decision, at least the speculation will be done and we can mentally move on.
This is what I was saying when people were up in arms over what Diaco said after the game on Saturday. I don't care what comes out of Lincoln except for the 3-4 hours on Saturday.

I don't think so, I think he is gone when Riley is gone but I could still see the position being there. I would think that the new coach would want his guy in there. Or like...4 of his guys making 100K each doing even more for the team.
I don't think there is any chance Devaney is here next year. A quick look and Bama has 2 people doing this job and Ohio State has 1. I doubt either of those schools are paying what Nebraska is though.

there is a 0% chance of chip kelly or bob stoops coming here.
if we miss out on frost, the plan B option is likely going to be very underwhelming.
Plan B will only be underwhelming to the "Frost or Bust" folks that won't give anyone else a chance.
Unless will settle again for a Billy C, Pelini or Riley type.

I would love to hear Billy D explaining what he does to Moos
Moos: Oh, so you are a GA, do you live here on campus or just off campus with some friends...I have to admit you look a bit older than most GA's
Billy D: No no, I am not a GA, I am 55 and make 400K a year breaking down film"
Moos: Oh...yeah...well...not anymore.
Don't you think when there is a new staff that the position Devaney has will be still be a position? It may not pay as much as he is being paid but it isn't just some made up position that isn't common within P5 football programs.

Man it seems like people are missing the bigger story here. Our coaches were being forced by people above HCMR on how and what to coach, even though the coaches themselves hadn't bought into it. The chain of command was in complete disarray. How can we expect the players to buy in to philosophy when our own coaches we against it?

Who is this Mark Banker and why do we care what he thinks?

"With the Gators trailing 21-0 at the half in their eventual loss to Georgia, Spurrier walked through the press box and asked a handful of reporters, "What happened to the forward pass?"
toxic
Why is that anymore toxic than what some of the former Huskers have been saying to the press about the current situation in Lincoln?

Since Spielman played defensive back in high school, Riley said they took somewhat of a gamble putting Spielman at slot back. But it's paid off, he said.
Did Sam know this before he put out his click tweet the other day about this staff thinking of playing Spielman at CB? I'm guessing he did but didn't care because you know it is the OWH.

I'm not saying you didn't hear this stuff but there have been articles written about Chip Kelly being so private that even his friends and family are sworn to secrecy.
This doesn't strike me like the type of guy that casually walks around with young women on his arm for everyone to see.
I'll have to find out if there was some kind of secrecy swear.

Some people cry about him not fitting the culture but you know what fits every culture? Winning.
From what I’ve heard he would fit right in with the culture that was around with some past coaches. He liked the younger ladies while in Eugene.

Florida insider is saying tonight that he is hearing that Tom Osborne will be offering the job to Scott Frost. I doubt that is an official offer where ink goes to paper, but could be a gentlemen agreement type of thing.

Jessica - who do you think we go after when Frost isn't hired here?
The answer to this question can be found by doing a quick Twitter search.

Norvell is the leader
Dooley stared this past week that he was the leader of the UF staff and he is correct. My guess this happens by Dec 1st.

I’m pretty sure this “bogus position” that Billy Devaney has at Nebraska is a pretty common position at most major players in college football. Alabama has 2 people that make up the “bogus position” for their program.
