I added the 50-yarder from Humm to Rodgers, but not the Coyle field goal. We made a "special dispensation" for Henery's game-winner vs. Colorado but we're not adding any other FGs.

 

 

Of course, if general consensus swings to allowing more FGs, that can change.

 

 

 

 

Also - everyone help check and tell me if I've missed any. I had missed the 19-yarder for a while (somehow). The more eyes checking this the better.

Idk, there have been some huge wins and losses decided by field goals. When it comes to game winners or clinchers I think they deserve some consideration.

Has to be T Mart. We all saw what happened to the Huskers when he went down last year. With him, Huskers good. Without him, Huskers bad! Barring any major loses in fall camp (and with the possible exception of RB*) all of your other choices have a fair amount of depth behind them. So I really can't see an injury to any one of them being "season ending" for Nebraska. QB on the other hand...

* I expect the RB picture to work itself out pretty early. The number of freshmen alone should ease the load. Just look back at what the frosh duo of Rex and D Tray where able to do in their first year on campus. Now substitute the talent and speed of Green, Abdullah and Heard into that picture. Yeah I think they're gonna be fine.

First word that comes to mind is OVERKILL. Other than bowl games, how are the fans and media supposed to gauge a team or conference's general strength or talent level if they are scheduling fewer quality opponents in non-conf? I think we may see a lot more Chattanoogas in the future due to coaches not wanting to "load" an already heavy conference schedule with a possible loss to an AQ or even quality mid-major opponent.

And apologies to our new B1G brethren, but I'm personally not all that excited about the guarantee of more Hoosier, Illini, or Boilermaker football. Nope, doesn't even move the needle...

If we ever wear black uniforms, I'm going to switch and become a Texas fan.
