    The camera starts to shoot the footage of the opening 3rd quarter and it gets pretty close to a students head and then you see the top of his head. Then the next thing you know you don't see the guys head anymore and the camera is shaking. Lol I'm pretty sure that camera hit the top of that students head.

    I noticed at one point they were showing a girl in the front row and the angle of the camera made sure they showed her tight t-shirt. I'm betting that wasn't an accident.

    You guys think those aircraft are cool. Just wait until our government declassifies the existence of the black triangles. Now THOSE will make for some badass flyovers!

    Photobucket fail.... But I'll assume you intended to rib me a bit. Which is cool, cause I know one day you'll see for yourself what's really flying in our skies (and beyond?) and you'll say "Holy s#!&, that random huskerboard poster years ago was right!!!"

    Won't be the season from hell. I just don't see them winning it all for two simple reasons.

     

    You're going further north during the cold months, not south.

    You won't be playing the Longhorns anymore.....just longhorn (the animal) sized linemen. It's going to take a season or two to adjust to that.

     

    That being said, you guys should definitely go to a bowl game, and finish in the top half of your division.

    Well in the grand scheme of things, we're all irrelevant. After all we're just posters on an Internet forum.

    The Battle for NU

    I was at that game in San Antonio. Happened to get tickets in a group of NWestern fans , who were pretty obnoxious the first part of the game. I guess evidently the NW players were also a little obnoxious , as Solich told his team to take the gloves off and we really put it to them after awhile. The NWestern fans were saying things like "send them back to the CornFields" at the start of the game. Of course when NU went WAY out in front , I replied within earshot " send them back to the slums" ! :corndance

     

    I think Nebraska showed Northwestern who really deserves the "NU" title when we met in the 00' Alamo bowl game.

    This game was an embarrassment to NW and should never have been played in the first place. An NU/ Oregon St Fiesta Bowl could have been one a hell of a ball game. But thanks to ND's Uncle Enus exemption, CFB fans where given the pleasure of watching two lopsided, god awful match-ups instead of a bowl season with well contested games that fans could actually get excited about. O what could have been... <_< Seriously though does anyone else remember, didn't ABC cut the end of the Alamo Bowl because the whooping had gotten that bad?

     

    As for the poll question. No the NU "battle" isn't worthy of a rivalry game, because Northwestern isn't worthy of one.
