I think Cosgrove may have had something with Culbert playing in a 3-4 scheme. To bad it was a one off experiment of sorts. You could play him 3-4 and still have what amounts to a 3-3-5, depending on assignments. Culbert or Washington could serve this role, more of a rover than LB in pass situations. DT depth might not allow alot of this though. I'm just guessing here, and I'm no coach but man do we have some options ! Can't wait to see what this staff can do with the raw talent on this squad.

My uncle on the otherhand proudly sports a bicept tat that looks like the superman logo. Instead of the 'S' it has an 'N'. With the words "NO CAPE NEEDED"

Uhh, not usually.

To be honest I don't actually have a Husker tattoo. Just the most extreme example that came to mind. I'm just shocked at the absolute hatred for the idea. But to each his own I guess.

Glenns' situation was diffrent; because he has a history at LB. But it's true if can't keep a hold on the football he won't see many game reps at RB.

Mizzou was a nighter last year; so their out. I would like to see either the OU or TT game at night.

Everyone is attributing his move to this fear he wouldn't start. When I for one , think he should be commended for having the cajones to make an important switch for himself and the team. How many athletes would leave their comfort zone to play an even more demanding position!

When I see the O-line re-establishing the LOS 5 yards down the field then I'll believe it.

Amen! Conditioning gets alot of hype in the off season. But until we prove our superior conditioning with the game on the line in the 4th Qt. Then I'll get excited about the W&C program.

I don't understand what the big issue is w/ the idea of a 81ack0ut! Whether it works or not is doughtful. But for christ sakes, the big red mob could tone it down a bit. I meen if i want to wear white, red or freakin purple to a game; I'm going to. Hell the univ. put out special St. pattys green hoodies & shirts this year; was there a statewide boycott on all things green? For cryin out loud!
