Hypothetically - let's say Watson goes a year earlier, and Beck is promoted. What do you think the team would look like today? I think (assuming Beck had control and Bo wasn't making this call) - Lee is the man through 2010 with Green getting much more time...maybe 75 pass attempts. I'm not convinced Martinez ever becomes a QB here under that scenario. I think Beck would have seen Lee as a Reesing/Ganz type of guy and runs a very controlled offense through him while preparing Cody Green for a similar role in 2011/12.

 

I feel like things might have been very different for Cody Green had Watson not been a lame-duck OC in 2010. Bo was was calling the shots on the Martinez deal IMO...and I don't think he would have had Beck been in that role a year earlier. Things could be very different right now.

Pretty sure Lee was hurt pretty bad all 2010 season and only saw very limited playing time.

Would've been a good game either way. Interesting bit in the comments:

Michigan beat 7 top 25 teams and 4 in the top 10. Nebraska beat 4 top 25 teams and two in the top 10.

 

Common Opponents:

Baylor; Michigan beat 38-3, NU beat 49-21

Colorado; Michigan beat 27-3, NU beat 27-24.

 

Then some other guy brought up that Nebraska actually played more opponents who ended up ranked at the end of the season which actually matters more...

Both of those games for Michigan were at home and both of Nebraska's games were road games. And Colorado was in thier minds a rivalry game. So compairing the two is not a factor. Not saying Nebraska would have WON but looking at all the stats they should have WON.

On good note he has good Vision. The other thing that stood out to me is there is alot of arm tackling in that vid! Wrap UP you can not tackle a kid that size with just your arms. Hope he proves me wrong but he will not be able to break tackles like that in college.

If that was Bo in that 4 car pile up near dodge during rush hour I'm going to have to say he needs to be suspended for spring game. Due to the fact that I had to sit there for 30 mins to get by.

This is great I watched his film again has some work to do but looks good coming in Hope he can grasp the College game as well as he has High school!

Great Heart on this kid Hopefully he can be a good leader and motivator for the other kids on the team!!

good passer but needs to learn how to carry the ball high and tight when running the football I can see alot of FUmbles at the college level unless he gets that taken care of.

From what I can find they will not show the trophy until Game day! I did find a logo for the game.
