  1. Oh he can make some plays, it's just too bad that he can make as many bad plays as good plays.

Also, what did he do in the first 2.5 quarters of that game. If he wouldn't have made those plays and kept playing like he was it would have been another drubbing.

So you're "being more realistic" focuses on Martinez as the culprit for the Ohio State deficit and not on his role in the greatest comeback in school history? That's some pretty real realism you got going on there.

Braxton Miller going down was the only reason we won that game, not Taylor Martinez.

  2. you can argue any stat, and any number, but i just do not see how Neb will be successful with Taylor at QB. I think he is a good athlete. But i think we have better athletes on this team. I wish the most success for Taylor, obviously. I just don't see it happening. I think that he needs to improve as a QB dramatically if this team is going to see less that 4 losses next season. i think there was some improvement this season from last, but it isnt enough.

So basically what we have is this then: The "We 4 3" side giving stats and "empirical" data to argue its point while the "We 4 anyone but 3" side is using pure opinion. Got it.

  3. T-Mart is not a dual threat quarterback. He isn't even a single threat QB. He racks up rushing yards against chumps the first 4 games of the season and then takes him the entire conference schedule and a bowl game to match his output of the first 4. He is not elusive, makes terrible decision both throwing and running the ball, and is a joke to every fan base in America along with our bumbling idiot of a head coach. Outside of Penn State's QB and Ohio State's backup QB, I would have traded him for any of the other QBs we played this season including Tennessee-Chattanooga, Fresno State, and Wyoming.

  4. We learned that Nebraska is a mediocre, undisciplined football team that will never achieve more than 4th place in conference and never play in a meaningful bowl game. Although that's what we have been for the past 4 years so I'm not sure why I'm surprised by today's outcome.

  5. No. Price is a beast. And Derek Carr - gotta say, I think Carr might be even better.

Huskie fans should not be bitter. They were outclassed on the field, but man did they fight and clay their way to make something respectable out of what otherwise would have been a national drubbing and an embarrassing blowout.

He just bombed it down the field to wide open receivers with zero pressure on him after the secondary bumbled and fell all over the place. Washington is a garbage team we should have beat by 30 points, shows where we are at as a team. No where deserving of a top 10 ranking.
