I for one respect the tradition brought to us by the elder Husker fans. They are great role models for us all. Sometimes we lose touch of how we got to be what we are.
-
This makes me wonder how much negative recruiting we will encounter this year. I guess that until we prove we can run the offense with some success, we will have to endure people like Bowden.
-
Welcome to you sir. I look forward to your input.

Looking at this kid has to excite any Husker fan. This guy should be a STUD. He has alot to work with.

There is alot at stake that Saturday. I hope that they are blown away by the stadium experience.

Although not favored, I'm pulling for CSU on 3Sep!
They seem to give ole sCUm a heck of a game every year. I agree with Hunter. I hope sCUm gets the crap kicked out of them.

This just really makes me angry. I don't know the whole story on the Houston debacle. From what I heard ESPN was all over on having this game, but something went wrong. Yeah I know ol' Stevie denyed some things but why not try and have another one. Why have Maine come in??? (if they want an easy Div 1-AA, why not put Northern Iowa or a team people HEARD OF around here). The big red fans always travel well and always will. It would just be nice to go to a field that we haven't been to. Next year will be differnt as we will beat the 3 peat USC Trojans . I have been looking forward to this game for over 3 years since the series was first announced.
USC will not 3 peat.
No Norm Chow. We will see how much that impacts them.

Dave brought this up, took the words out of my mouth. I cant mention Cory Ross without thinking of the tremendous heart the he displayed. I dont care if we were way behind. Dailey would sail pass after pass over peoples heads. Cory would work even harder. He took it as his responsibility to try to carry us. He gives incredible individual effort along with being the ultimate team player.

Dude sounds like he has been in the sun for too long. He has fried his brain.

It has to be a very difficult job trying to revamp the whole program. After 1 full year you start hearing that your job security is in jeopardy. I guess that is where we are with the coaches in college football. I honestly think that Callahan will have a little extra time with this because he was Petersons first coach. IMO seven wins or more, shouldnt be too hard this year.

He is 17 years old. Given the right amount of time, he will be in the mix for qb job.

Drinking....a lot
.Oh ya that too.

I understand where you are coming from. I guess that I am just a very sensative living by the Sooners year round. They really never quit about us. It is year round. That makes me a little bitter I guess.
-
I know that it has been stated . They are bashing one of there own home town boys. You think that they could be above it and actually be happy for this kid. He has come a long way. But then again we are talking about sooner fans who couldnt find there a** with both hands. God they SUCK.

Give me the Runza everytime
You can buy the Fairbury dogs at the store and do them at home anytime. Besides I much rather prefer the Wimmer Natural Casing dog from West Point. Now, if those were featured at the stadium I would have to get one of each(Runza and a dog). Damn, this talk is making me hungry. I think I'll slide down to the neighborhood Runza for dinner
Im with you Runzas are in my dreams at night. There also 450 miles away .There are very good.

My favorite thing about being in Lincoln on gameday is the people. Where I come from you rarely run into anyone that has the same pasion for Husker football as I have. It is very hard to go to a sports bar around here and watch a game without getting ripped by a drunk OU fan. When we go to Lincoln I get a great feeling of belonging. It makes up for all the negativity from the Stoops brigade down here. The sea of red gives me goosebumps. All my peeps!

Missouri will be gunning for us. That was actually a very well played game last year by our defense. But I agree. I think it will come down to the CU game for the north. The OU game will be hyped quite a bit because of the little ruf nex dude who get knocked out. Not to mention the f'ing hillbillie statement. There is alot of bad blood between us and the sooners.

Miles will be very dangerous to contend with. He always got alot out of his players with average talent. Now with the LSU program current players and "world class " facility. He should have alot of leverage with recruits. He is very capable with the right talent to win it all.

A constant pass rush is so impotant . To put constant presure on the QB to make a snap decision makes it very hard to get a good read . After a while, the qb starts hearing footsteps . Then the unforced errors come in. I would like to see some speed off of the end. Hell I would like to see it all over the defense.

Good read Kansas. The corn coast offense. Thats the first time that I have heard that. I bet that its not the last.

If you look back to last year. They were very sluggish out of the gate. When we played them early . IMO I think it was to our benifit. Hopefully this year will produce the same results as last.

KC . I feel your anticipation. Everyday that passes is one less day until kickoff. Its going to be hard to not think about football.
