Looks like there are tickets still available for the Husker vs Kansas State throught the Kansas St. Ticket office. It's an away game for this last and final tour of the conference. For many, including UNL Students it's a short drive to Manhatten. It's going to be a televised Thursday night game. How great it would be to make the place a home game for the Huskers?

åfter our guys whip the bejeezus out of mizzou this fall, they get to bring the Victory Bell trophy back home to Lincoln.

 

 

Since we won't play Mizzou again in conference, I wonder if the two schools will bother with it when we play non conference.

I say, when Nebraska beats Missouri this fall and we get to keep the bell to do with it as we wish forever, we use the bell as a trophy for our "Rival" game in the Big Ten Conference. The loser gets the old used bell for the next year and the winner gets the bright new trophy, whatever that is going to be.

My thought is that regardless on people's thoughts on BRM or the site, people need to stand up to friggin corporate America and take a stand with the only thing they understand. That is money...be it real, or website hits or whatever angle you to care to choose.

I used to scoff at the idea of paying to post, but it really, really pi$$es me off that these clowns from Kalifornia are doing this. I will now gladly pay BRM to post just to tell these jokers to stick it where the sun doesn't shine....politics on the original site be darned. This is about Husker nation sticking up for their own.

I hope that the guys who did this get their arses handed to them in every conceivable way. Their letters to GoDaddy are just the frosting on the cake that I hope they choke on.

I think HuskerBoard.com and checking into HuskerMax.com will compliment each other rather well when it comes to Husker Football news.

Don't be surprised if the old pedia site dies a slow death "if" BRM and the corporation running the pedia site don't get things worked out.

I like the field we have as well. You can really tell the hards gained easier from high in the stadium. It also looks like the real grass field that the small college had in my home town when they cut it in 2 directions.

Those of you that still consider OU a rival need to move on. We don't play them every single season so how can they be considered a rival?

 

I wish it were Oklahoma, but no way since we don't play them every year.

The student section needs to create their own cheers. New ones are badly needed.

Something like at Texas A & M, they cheer all the time. NU fans have basically two, "GO BIG RED" and "HUSKER POWER". It seems like there should be more done to get the fans involved. (forget the "wave" that gets lame.)

The cheerleaders and the video guys need to rework things with the "HUSKER POWER" thing. The timing is all messed up with the Tunnel Walk.

First: Bo was hired to Coach a team of young men to excel and represent the Univesity in the best way possible. If done well, the players will win games. They are improving from 1-1/2 year ago. Yes it's only been a whole 1-1/2 year since Bo and his staff came aboard (A short one at that, remember the "short" recruiting season they had because of the timing of his hire).

Second: The media should do their jobs, but not without compassion. I will add the instant reporting we get with modern technology breeds problems with reporting. The news clowns are in their own little world, they act to freely and above the rest of us without thinking about what they are really asking while trying to get the so called news.

Memorial Stadium and the City of Lincoln could very well take care of a World Cup game.

I was in Europe when France hosted the WC some years ago. The place was wild.

Yes, it's a bad idea. I do however, think a matchup between UNO and Colorado State would be interesting.

UNO might just make a good game out of it and maybe even pull one off and get a W to hang in their locker room.

I'd rather have a very fast defense than a very fast offense.

 

 

 

This is also the area in which we could establish an advantage over the rest of the Big 12 relatively quickly. No one in this conference plays defense. If Bo can build a fast defense along the lines of LSU ca. 2007, I think we could make it very difficult for the rest of the teams in the conference to keep running the spread option successfully.

Bigger, faster, and stronger on both sides of the ball. Quickness is needed from all. Defense especially. WR's need to be tall (about 6'3") and fast (about 4.48). LB's and DE's must be quick players, strong and fast as well.

Finally, dedicaton to hard work and commitment to the program is a must for all recruits.
