Looks like there are tickets still available for the Husker vs Kansas State throught the Kansas St. Ticket office. It's an away game for this last and final tour of the conference. For many, including UNL Students it's a short drive to Manhatten. It's going to be a televised Thursday night game. How great it would be to make the place a home game for the Huskers? I say, when Nebraska beats Missouri this fall and we get to keep the bell to do with it as we wish forever, we use the bell as a trophy for our "Rival" game in the Big Ten Conference. The loser gets the old used bell for the next year and the winner gets the bright new trophy, whatever that is going to be.

I like the field we have as well. You can really tell the hards gained easier from high in the stadium. It also looks like the real grass field that the small college had in my home town when they cut it in 2 directions. Next discussion?

I wish it were Oklahoma, but no way since we don't play them every year. By default it must be Missouri. I just wish I could respect them like I do Oklahoma

I will be there, and loud. The student section needs to create their own cheers. New ones are badly needed. Something like at Texas A & M, they cheer all the time. NU fans have basically two, "GO BIG RED" and "HUSKER POWER". It seems like there should be more done to get the fans involved. (forget the "wave" that gets lame.) The cheerleaders and the video guys need to rework things with the "HUSKER POWER" thing. The timing is all messed up with the Tunnel Walk.

They are improving from 1-1/2 year ago. Yes it's only been a whole 1-1/2 year since Bo and his staff came aboard (A short one at that, remember the "short" recruiting season they had because of the timing of his hire). Second: The media should do their jobs, but not without compassion. I will add the instant reporting we get with modern technology breeds problems with reporting. The news clowns are in their own little world, they act to freely and above the rest of us without thinking about what they are really asking while trying to get the so called news.

Memorial Stadium and the City of Lincoln could very well take care of a World Cup game. I was in Europe when France hosted the WC some years ago. The place was wild. What fun! Great PR for the University, Lincoln and Nebraska should it come to pass!

Yes, it's a bad idea. I do however, think a matchup between UNO and Colorado State would be interesting. UNO might just make a good game out of it and maybe even pull one off and get a W to hang in their locker room.

This is also the area in which we could establish an advantage over the rest of the Big 12 relatively quickly. No one in this conference plays defense. If Bo can build a fast defense along the lines of LSU ca. 2007, I think we could make it very difficult for the rest of the teams in the conference to keep running the spread option successfully. Bigger, faster, and stronger on both sides of the ball. Quickness is needed from all. Defense especially. WR's need to be tall (about 6'3") and fast (about 4.48). LB's and DE's must be quick players, strong and fast as well. Finally, dedicaton to hard work and commitment to the program is a must for all recruits.
