The tempo of that BYU / Nevada game was through the roof. One of the fastest games I have ever seen played. Nebraska will have to slow BYU down in order to win. The good thing is that our defense is far better than Nevada's defense so we shouldn't have to try and run the floor against them like that. Hope for an outcome much like the Tulsa game....BYU has the ability to score in bunches. I thought yesterday was the most complete game of basketball I have seen Nebraska play in a while. Some of the more inexperienced players like Jones and Jeter really stepped up and impressed me, they looked like leaders; Jones hitting big 3's when they were needed most, and then Jeter taking the ball to the rack and throwing up a left hander high off the glass with two guys on him under 1 min left in the game.....love it. It's always a good thing when you're 11 games into the season about ready to open up league play and your team is starting to gel. I really hope they can keep the confidence level up and prove the critics wrong. I know a lot of people were upset over on a bettors forum that Nebraska pulled the upset yesterday . I of course put 20 bucks on Nebraska.....the Huskers are the only team I will bet on. If I lose I really don't care about losing 20 bucks because I am more upset that we lost....but if we win, then I am double happy because we won and I made an extra 20!

I disagree. The kid who wrote this wasn't looking for any fame at all. He had a facebook account which you could see how much of a diehard Texas fan he was. He deleted it once Husker fans started giving him a bunch of crap. First off, if he was looking for fame then he would be sticking his neck out soaking it all up and not deleting his facebook account. Secondly, why would a Texas fan write this to stir up Nebraska? That is like committing suicide. I'll bet he didn't figure anyone would read it besides other kids that go to school at Texas. It's just an arrogant article written by a kid who isn't used to domination. Now that Nebraska fans have ahold of it, it's not a good thing for his team.

Facing the facts here.........Callahan had an offensive mind that was simply ingenious. The problem with Callahan is that he had other things on his mind - Sam Keller ring a bell??? How could any coach not see the potential of Joe Ganz in practice. Honestly speaking, I would take Callahan as an offensive coordinator. In reality he showed the ability to call power plays in situations when needed - something that Shawn Watson is trying to learn. That is where he is at his best. He has no business being a head coach and will never be a head coach again.

Plus there are a lot of lazy fans. . . our fanbase is kind of notorious for never stepping outside the box and trying new things. Kinda like how it kept getting quieter and quieter until the OU game came. Then all of a sudden everyone was excited just because it was OU.

Sounds crazy probably huh? I have seen this done a couple of times in my lifetime, and both of those times my ears felt like they were bleeding afterwards. Most people will be too lazy to do this I'm sure, but all it really takes is 15 seconds to grab a plastic cup from home and stuff it in your pocket. Bring it in to the game, rip out the bottom of the cup, and your voice will be a million times more effective. What happens is instead of your voice being dispersed in many different directions, it is all aimed straight towards whatever direction you are pointing. It is highly HIGHLY effective. We could make it a living hell for Kansas State if just even a group of people did this.

As obvious as it is for some of us that the stadium needs to be crazy, there are some students who just buy tickets because they are cheap and they won't have a clue. The OU game was obvious for every man, woman, and child, but I guarantee some people aren't in the loop as much as the rest of us. Kansas State is a team that CAN come into our house and upset the Huskers. Everyone needs to be reminded and we might as well start right now early in the week. Some of you need to step back into reality. Watson had been coaching some of these guys using this offensive scheme for a couple of years now....it would not be easy to out of nowhere right in the middle of the season change up the play book. Even if it is just a simple I-Form package. The guy was in a bind and really the whole mess was on his shoulders. I guarantee you the thought crossed his mind to go to a power package, but a little reassurance from Tom Osborne is just what he needed. Imagine being the OC and taking all this heat and then right in the middle of the season changing the offensive gameplan. You would have to be scared as hell that it wasn't going to work after preparing the kids all that time to run a completely different gameplan. Tom Osborne did the right thing by saying, "yes, it's ok to make the change....it will work." That was all Watson needed to hear. Some of you act like Watson should just be able to make changes without feeling any pressure. It's easy for us to sit here and say what needs to change, because if we are wrong we don't have a million people calling for our heads.

41-3 would be beyond a huge step in the right direction. OU only got Baylor 33-7 in Norman. I have us winning 31-10...still a good win. I would love to blow them out though. Anything to build up some confidence going into the OU game.

Honestly everyone should sneak in a cup or somethin that they can turn into a megaphone. That will make a person sound 100 times louder right there.
